File Updated: Two acoustic guitars added (feeler runs so there's mistakes🤸‍♀️Program that AI🖕).... One mostly single string lead and the other a picked rhythm. Extended the progression for a dancey end... Note-The idea of a 23 second phrase is born from my boss pedal maxing out at 22990ms... so that was the longest possible loop I could do with it. To do that essily I needed to work out the bpm to fill that 23 seconds. This was the original 23 therapy..https://soundcloud.com/thebeautifuldark/23-therapy Ot's a mostly acoustic electronic tune.
An interesting coincidence here... The bpm used is 167 (83.49bpm x 2 rounded off) and the original has 167 plays as of now.... Schweeeet
So in fact that rounding makes our duration a little less so we are a tad shy of 23 seconds...

For me its absolutley worth learning the relationship of time duration and bpm well. Music at the end of the day is maths so I do like being conscious of the time and symmetry technically as well as just feeling it... It's interesting and maybe gives you a different understanding and hopefully more original music from that...

This song began with sums... I wanted the phrase to be 23 seconds long. Do the maths and thats 83.49 bpm or 2875ms per bar. My DAW don't like bpm decimals so I used a string scratch looped on a delay pedal with 2875ms delay to find that 23 second phrase and then move on to make the idea... If all else... it's a different way to start a song

As a writing constraint and extra nugget I wrote Twenty Three Therapy down the side of he page first and used it to build the lines...
