Included on gardenstate's 'Inspirations' album (released in October 2021), the heartfelt track has seen a new lease of life in recent months. 'The Best Part' has been streamed over five million times as of May 2022, with over 47,000 videos using the track on Instagram Reels, and support in Spotify's 'Chill Tracks' and 'Viral Dance' playlists.

'The Best Part' has also been remixed by Patrice Bäumel and Lost Prince, with Patrice's remix becoming a favourite of UK tastemakers Camelphat, and supported multiple times on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong.

Info: How U Feel transposes a fresh sprouting of highly strung self-worth into four melodically vivid
and hard-hitting jungle tracks. Through surging synth lines, rolling bass grooves, RnB vocal
sampling and chrome-plated breaks, this EP is an ode to the powers of hyper-romanticism and
melancholic devotion, and inward & outward emotional availability as their guiding force.
The EP begins with “Warm Wash”, kicking off with a steady dub reggae-inspired bassline
groove, breakbeat-piano euphoria and a classic vocal sample. “Sacrificial” continues the dub
influence with flutters of echoed vocal harmonies and acidic, airy synthesis. The title track

takes the mood into a darker territory with a slow burner of retro-futuristic synthesis, dancehall-
based breakbeat riddims, and a piercing vocal hook. “B4DB1DNESS (Vocal Mix)” brings forth an

anthemic amen breaks dub of Tinashe’s “None of My Business”, prompting both tears and
elation in the peak time. Closing out the EP is a remix of “Sacrificial” by Kultiv, which switches
up the original mix with wobbling basslines and nocturnal junglist ambience.

On ‘UK Flavour’ he delivers something decidedly different in the form of a garage track, teaming up with undoubtedly one of the UK’s greatest MC’s: PAV4N - of Foreign Beggars acclaim - who has contributed an impressive, innumerable lyrical legacy, across a plethora of genres, BPMs, and decades. It's all good all the time with JPOD. The Beat Chef himself is still bouncing back from the loss of his Soundcloud account a couple years back thanks to three copyright strikes on his world-renowned groovalicious remixes. While the Canadian glitch producer and DJ works to regain his flock, the smiles continue to rain down upon fans who catch his high-energy live sets. The fun times are contagious whenever JPOD takes the stage, and we're happy to help put JPOD back in the spotlight.

Today, fans get to hear his bouncy and bubbly Manu Chao remix. JPOD's take on the international superstar's classic “Bongo Bong” is part dubby bopper and part thick bass groove. So… 

Here it is. The album that we've been talking about for over a year. Scheduling conflicts be damned, we made it happen! Yes, the process was long, and at times it was even a little grueling, but we stuck to our guns and we couldn't be happier with the results. 

Originally, we created about 16 tracks for the album, and then we narrowed it down to the songs that you have in front of you today. It was important to us that we create a collection of music that crossed multiple styles and genres, yet told a coherent story. It's not an easy thing to do, but we feel like we pulled it off by using themes, samples, techniques and by consciously assessing what did and did not work together.

We feel like there is something for everyone on this record and we're very pleased with the fact that we can offer this to everyone for free. All we ask is that you listen to it with an open mind, share it with your friends and come say hello whenever we play a show in your city. 

So, once again - Thank you to each and every person that showed us support over the last few years. We love working together, and have already discussed plans for a follow up album.
