For his 30th birthday, Lunar Park (a.k.a. Monodeer), Men of Mega, RoccoW, Ultrasyd and xyce decided to make some music for EINDBAAS' Frans Twisk. With five original tracks and five remixes of one of each others earlier tracks we're pretty sure we've stroked Frans' ego for the next five years ! All profit will go to Frans as a birthday present.

Men of Mega - Consultation (Ultrasyd remix)

Yea so I made a monkey island remix recomposition as opposed to  countless other covers/remixes I took another approach. But I just need to clairyfy that I see no problem in the original but thought this was fun. How ever that was on the messiah-cartride (streamed midi kind of) before I was able to use a tracker properly and way before I could do any assembler for the 6510 to understand. Anyhow I got a sid-request and there was never a sid, well not my sid.. So I went ahead and "coverted it" or more accurate rewrote it in sid wizzard and put some other stuff in it as well e.g. the part starting 2:59. The sid got quite big, 10.6 Kb but I think it's worth it : )

Continuing my chiptune mania: here's a chip cover of the swedish synthpop band Page's wonderful classic "Mia & Tom". An hommage to Eddie Bengtsson and his amazing songwriting skills! His music has inspired me endlessly since I was very little

So this one is a version of "Come on Eileen" done in the style of Pac Man (with another game thrown in. try to guess which one :))

1982 was a very good year for me. I was 10, thoroughly addicted to videogames & I fell in love for the first time with a girl I met at summer camp. This song (and game) was the soundtrack to that summer. I still think of her every time I hear it :). Hope you enjoy this one! More to come!

Come On Eileen (Blinkys 8-bit Chasers version) by lazyitis

As featured on the Rob Tissera Ideal Weekender CD & Andy Whitby's Ideal 2 CD!!!

For our first ever track together we wanted to do something big. So we decided to take one of the biggest tracks of the last decade and turn it on its head.

The Flash Harry remix of Til Tears Do Us Part  does magical things to a dancefloor. The track has a lot of haters but it has a damn sight more lovers! Many people have tried to remix it but we feel they have always fallen short. We noticed that its specific little things in the Flash Harry mix that make it so special. If you just take the riff and bolt on a new baseline its not going to work as well.

We decided the best way to attack it would be to remake the Flash Harry version from top to bottom using the latest tools available. Make it new and crisp. Bring it bang up to date. BUT we needed to add a few surprises without detracting away from the magic! 

After appearing on youtube and featuring in some popular mixes we thought we better upload it to soundcloud for you all to enjoy!

We hope you enjoy the remix. We think its great fun.
