A cover of The Beach Boys' Seminal Rock and Roll classic, "Fun, Fun, Fun", which reached No. 5 on the US singles chart in the same year...

Brian Wilson and Mike Love wrote the song in 1964, and based it on the hot-rod scene in California at the time, and their drummer Dennis Wilson's experiences in it.

The guitar intro clearly borrows from the style of play innovated by Chuck Berry, which would have been taking the US by storm at this time, and of course the usual Beach Boy vocal harmony lends it their signature sound.

Greg and I tried a few more old fashioned recording techniques on this one, especially on the drums, and we think they helped provide the correct feel to this one.

Also this is the first time we recorded organ (our favourite bit of the tune)
