Alternative punk rockers, party starters & agents of chaos... Degenerates by name and by nature. 

Hot off the back of an incendiary performance at House of Vans and with brand new music coming very soon, Gen and the Degenerates are hotly tipped for a huge 2022. They and the growing numbers of their equally chaotic and degenerate audience are gearing up to not only prove those rumors of big things true but to exceed any and all expectations put upon them.

This band is a riot of anthemic rock and aggression that brings a swagger, charm and presence to the stage making them one of the most memorable emerging live bands on the vibrant British rock scene. Their upcoming tour with british rock scene legends Skunk Anansie will only further prove that fact.

Mike Quinn is a Muppet Performer, Creature Performer, Actor, Writer, Producer, Director, Voice Artist and Musician. Chosen by Jim Henson at just 16 years of age to perform his lovable Muppets, he went on to bring life to Nien Nunb, Lando Calrissian's alien Co-pilot in Return of the Jedi and the subsequent final trilogy. 
Now over 4 decades in the industry, he's still working on many new projects including his own for his company Mike Quinn Studios.

After originally studying visual art at Central Saint Martins, Marcus moved into music and theatre and has been a writer and performer for over twenty years. He has studied singing with Mary King, devising with Emma Rice’s School for Wise Children and acting with Chris New at The Actors Centre.

His show Postcards from God - The Sister Wendy Musical has been presented at Jermyn Street Theatre in London's West End, at Hackney Empire Studio Theatre and South London Theatre, with its Concept Cast Recording receiving airplay from Elaine Paige and Graham Norton on BBC Radio Two. His debut album Quicksilver - The Masquerade Macabre, singles, EPs and audiobook of poetry have received critical acclaim and local radio airplay across the UK.

As part of London's alternative cabaret circuit he performed alongside such luminaries as David Hoyle, Dickie Beau and Jonny Woo, sung in Our Lady J’s gospel choir at Soho Theatre and supported RuPaul’s Drag Race star Adore Delano at the legendary Black Cap. Through Southbank Centre's Voicelab, he sang with Mercury Music Prize winners Elbow, jazz improvisation icon Bobby McFerrin, beat boxer Shlomo and UK jazz legend Ian Shaw in choirs led by Dom Stichbury, Laka D and Mary King. Other highlights include a star studded celebration of David Bowie at Union Chapel which also featured Glen Matlock, David McAlmont, The Magic Numbers and Dan Gillespie Sells of The Feeling, and supporting Tom Robinson at a fundraiser for the Russian LGBT Network.

He has written articles for Time Out, Beige and Polari Magazine and with live performances, readings and screenings of his work at venues including BAC, the Kings Head and the ICA, Marcus has established a firm reputation as a versatile man of words and music.
