A native of Grand Rapids, MI, Delvyn has performed his poetry/songs at churches, state correctional facilities, outreaches, various schools, (public, private, & alternative), university's, annual festivals, youth camps, entertainment clubs, non-profit organizations, funerals, family gatherings, and open mics. Delvyn most notable performance took place before a crowd of 10,000 at the US Cellular Arena in Milwaukee, WI, when he opened up for Christian Evangelist Josh McDowell; during the time he was with his former group the Dredknox. 

Delvyn brings a conscious feel to his listeners, and even though he's able to convey messages about love, unity, and wisdom; it doesn't withhold him from bringing lyrics that are upbeat and entertaining.
