To rise above the hurt and find my truth,
For in letting go, my heart finds its beat.
So farewell to the past, to the pain you've wrought,
I'll emerge stronger, with lessons hard-fought.
And though scars may linger, I'll face the dawn,
For I am resilient, and my spirit lives on.

Bitter Sweet is written after reading the Thursday murder Club book by Richard Osman. It told the story of John and Penny.  John sits by Penny's bed all day and simply holds her hand. So it left me wondering what was in Johns head at night.  I hope you hear whatever story you can find.
