Amsterdam based label, store, and distribution outlet Bordello A Parigi have been on fire lately, and they’re gearing up to release another excellent project with newcomers Mytron & Ofofo. Like the rest of the Bordello catalog, M&O’s debut is a sweet exploration into funk, italo, and disco. The A1, “Aircraft One,” is an absolute heater, and kicks off with an appropriate sample of a plane taking off. As soon as we’re airborne, we’re hit in the face with a heavy rolling bassline that drives the track into trippier territory, a place where searing, brassy synth stabs compliment keyboard flourishes and authoritative vocal shouts that scream for all to “get up!” FYI, if you weren’t up already there’s something wrong with you!

“Aircraft One” is a versatile track that would work well in disco, house, or more afro centric sets. The rest of the EP takes on a more organic, tropical tone, but continues to press the consistent Bordello A Parigi themes of wonky basslines and heavy synth melodies. Futhermore, this is an impressive debut from a duo we know little about. We will certainly be keeping an eye on Mytron & Ofofo’s next projects as we slowly rinse the Aircraft One EP to death. As for Bordello, the formula remains the same, and you’d be amiss to not keep tabs on a label that’s proven to be consistent A&R’s of unique and talented producers.

Canadian artist Gab Rhome makes his return to All Day I Dream this June with an appearance on the label's scintillating new Summer Sampler. The sunshine VA also includes cuts from the bossman himself Lee Burridge in collaboration with Lost Desert as well as Zone+, PHCK, Superlounge, Budakid, and Modd. Rhome, know for his exquisitely crafted melodic groovers, which includes works on the likes of Anjunadeep and Kindisch, shares a true gem for the occasion. The New York-based Montreal native contributes 'Venus', a beautiful track that many have ogled with their ears over the last few months. Listen in full premiere now :)

This time, teaming up with songwriter and producer The Slow Revolt, Tim has unveiled three renditions of an original titled 'Still Not Born'. The slow-burning, echoing tune's club mix has arrived today on ​Mixmag​, and will release on July 14 alongside an original and dub mix as well.
The club version of 'Still Not Born' is a deep, nine-minute dive showcasing the best of both artists in wide, sweeping melodies and an addictive sashaying drum beat and is out on July 14 on CityFox.

Bartkuhn best known for his work with his iconic (NEEDS) imprint, and AYBEE for his boundary pushing ethos at (Deepblak). A project spawned of mutual love, and respect the two met at an impromptu jam performance at the Xjazz Fest where the seeds were planted for further collaboration. Committed to stretching out beyond tight parameters they sought to capture the spirit of the dance. "Costa Vaya is a pure underground and low profile artist.

Wherever you listen to his sets you will soon realize that he speaks through his music. Most of the times emotional but at times hard and raw, his sets oscillate between house and techno. He was born in the early 80s in Zurich, and as a child, he started receiving incentives from the first wave of techno from Detroit to Europe. After he moved to Greece, he started collecting vinyl and he soon got onto his first appearances. At the age of 17, he was already an integrated dj with weekly residencies and monthly gigs.

Huge influences on him were Siampanis P and G-kash, his local mentors, but also Akylla, one of the house pioneers in Greece. Costa has studied music technology and audio engineer in Athens and started producing tracks.

He now lives in Patra. He gives all of his energy on djing, collaborating with all the hot names of the scene in countless gigs in Greece and Europe. He also composes scores for films, theatrical plays and documentaries."
