@josimiller was born in Leipzig-Connewitz and gained her first experience as a DJ in the East German subculture. Parallel to her studies at the Bauhaus University Weimar, she played bigger and bigger stages throughout Germany over the years - her sets were already pushing genre boundaries back then. Josi moved to Berlin in 2017, having long been a protagonist of the Homegirls-podcast. She accompanied Trettmann for years as a tour DJ, while also touring as a solo artist. She DJs in Cape Town and Maui, at Radio Rudina in Vienna and FOUNDATION.FM in London, at about:blank, Institut für Zukunft and Uebel & Gefährlich, plays shows from MODULAR to MELT, Gurtenfestival Bern to Openair Frauenfeld and Feel to Fusion.

During the pandemic, Josi honed her producing skills and founded the electropop duo Import Export - in a team with KLAN-musician Stefan Heinrich; with “Snacks” and “Meds”, this constellation produced two highly acclaimed EPs. This was followed by Performances at the Zeiss Planetarium in Berlin and at the Primavera Pro in Barcelona with Import Export, their own stage at the Splash!-festival, a project trip through South Africa initiated by the Goethe Foundation, countless workshops for Flinta* and various productions for artist friends à la Jolle or Zugezogen Maskulin. For around two years, Josi has been hosting the ARTE-format Chat with a DJ, in which she regularly welcomes artists such as Marlon Hoffstadt, Anja Schneider and Acid Pauli.

NewTone is an Amsterdam-based DJ duo made up of two childhood friends who blend old-school house with modern club energy. Their sound draws from a wide range of house music, combining classic influences with contemporary rhythms. Their first two EPs reached the top three on Beatport, with support from artists such as Job Jobse, Palms Trax, Tjade, and Chris Stussy.  

They have played events including Loveland, Intercell, and Lowlands, as well as venues like Lofi, Thuishaven, and Shelter. Sets are known for being dynamic and energetic, often keeping dancefloors moving for hours. With more music ready for release and ongoing studio work, NewTone continues to refine and expand this sound.  

This mix is built around unreleased material, both NewTone’s own tracks and music from favorite producers. The set focuses on uplifting house grooves and Afro-influenced rhythms. It brings together several IDs that have been featured in recent shows over the past weeks.

Hier die Kerngedanken kurz zusammengefasst:

1. Spezielle Relativitätstheorie (1905)
Nichts ist absolut – außer der Lichtgeschwindigkeit.
Zeit und Raum sind relativ, sie hängen vom Beobachter ab.
Wer sich schnell bewegt, erlebt:
Zeit läuft langsamer (Zeitdilatation)
Längen werden kürzer (Längenkontraktion)
Masse und Energie sind austauschbar: E = mc².
→ Ein bisschen Masse enthält unglaublich viel Energie.

2. Allgemeine Relativitätstheorie (1915)
Gravitation ist keine Kraft, sondern die Krümmung von Raum und Zeit.
Große Massen (z. B. Sterne, Planeten) verformen den Raum – und darin bewegen sich Körper und Licht auf gekrümmten Bahnen.

Konsequenzen:
Licht wird von Schwerkraft abgelenkt.
Zeit vergeht langsamer in starken Gravitationsfeldern.
Vorhersage von Schwarzen Löchern, Gravitationswellen usw.

Kurz gesagt:
Einstein zeigte, dass Raum und Zeit formbar und relativ sind – und dass Gravitation die Form von Raum-Zeit ist, nicht eine unsichtbare Ziehkraft. :)
