Drum & Bass veteran Zero T teams up with multi-instrumentalist duo Unitsouled to bring us a slice of 'Irish soul music for the 21st century' with their “Baby Grand EP”. Due on The North Quarter on the 11th of May this exclusive project sees Zero T's trademark sound reach new heights through the addition of live instrumentation and exploration of a broader palette of genres. Additionally a host of talented vocalists are featured throughout the project - including fresh NQ signing Abnormal Sleepz. From start to finish the 'Baby Grand EP' effortlessly moves through Hip Hop, Neo Soul, Broken Beat and Drum & Bass adding another ambitious chapter to the eclectic North Quarter portfolio.

Irish Drum & Bass veteran Zero T returns to Amsterdam imprint The North Quarter with his “Former Self EP”. Following up from his ambitious multi-genre project “Baby Grand”, Zero T now strips things down to a focused five-track project that manoeuvres through a broad range of styles within Drum & Bass. From his Soulful reinterpretation of Mango x MathMan's “Lonely Night” to the dubbed out weight of “Clash” - with Bristol-based rising producer Myth - this is a well balanced EP that displays Zero T's expansive vision and is a testimony to his growth as a producer and technician.

"I had a number of aims with my second EP for The North Quarter” Zero T explains. “While my first release 'Baby Grand' was an opportunity to explore working in different styles of music and utilising live instrumentation, I wanted this second release to be stripped back to basics: five Drum & Bass tracks that cover the spectrum of what I like within this music. There's two vocal tunes in the classic 'Liquid' style, one tune that could easily be described as Jump Up, a Dub/Jungle influenced track with Myth and finally what I would call a “listening track"; something not necessarily designed for DJs/clubs. If someone wants to know what I stand for, then this release says it all."

2013 saw Anile release on yet again some the most regarded labels within the scene such as Marky’s Innerground Records, Total Sciences imprint CIA and not to forget Hospital Records sister outfit Medschool Music. Adding that to his back catalogue of releases over the years, Anile has established himself as not just one to watch but one to have. With heavy support from the likes of BBCR1, Ministry Of Sound and all the top names in the scene such as Marcus Intalex, London Electricity, Fabio & Grooverider, Lenzman to name a few....

Sure enough 2014 is here and what better way to kick things off with a most anticipated release on the famous Hospital Records as part of the 18 year anniversary. With tracks also forthcoming on Soul:r & Medschool this will certainly be a year that Anile intends on making his.
