Born in Hamburg and based in Berlin since 2011, Viscerale has a classical background in piano and found her passion to select the music for the right moment since she was young. Her first electronic mixtapes appeared around 2015 and officially started DJing in clubs in October 2017. She played in several countries including the US, was holding a residency at Ved Siden Af in Copenhagen, and is a regular in Berlin Clubs like Säule (Berghain), About Blank, OHM, or Griessmühle. Viscerale joined the Source Artists Agency in 2021. Driven by strong emotions and influenced by various genres from Techno to Trance. Her journeys are seeking high energy levels in a playful way with surprising twists. 140 bpm upwards is her comfort zone.

Viscerale told us what inspired her most to record this podcast for us: "After creating a ruthless hardcore tracklist for a few weeks, I completely changed the direction within 3 days. I had some very insightful moments and felt like calming down again. I want to take you on a more lighthearted deep trip with this journey, to dream of uncertain futures."

BCCO Podcast 093: Lucinee aka DJ Dripcore

Worker of a moist but textured industrial techno, ABSL walks us through the BPM. He makes a point of ensuring that both his lives and productions exude a breathless, bubbling narrative. Crazy sound design technician, his abyssal and spatialized sounds are the subject of a meticulousness - bordering on insanity. Finally, his quest for an unusual sound brings him closer to artists such as Blawan, Aphex Twin and even Rrose, in his psycho-acoustic approach.

Although he has started to heat us up seriously in recent years, ABSL discovers music when his brother introduces him to what a drum machine is. Mystical initiation, onanic exploration, it’s not easy to qualify this revelation imbued with serendipity. From Nantes, his heartland, he explores, feels, auscultates, palpates the sound. After fortuitous encounters, he embarked for Paris where many adventures awaited him: he released his first EP in 2016 on the label "South London Analogue Material". He has since made exhilarating outings noted as “K” on Blocaus Series or « Le Perçant Arcus » on RAW. In 2019, it was on "Mama Told Ya", along with Anetha, that he released the feverish EP "Don’t rush to grow up".

Ardent sidekick of the queer community, he is also a resident of the burning MYST parties and comes out in fall 2020 with the hot "Chaines et Dénuement", released on the said label.

Since moving to Scotland 3 years ago and starting to produce, he has been meticulously developing his sound. Taking influence from producers such at Slam, Silicone Soul and Joe Farr.

Since starting his label Helrad Limited over two years ago he has collaborated with Steve Still, Joe Farr, Stanislav Tolkachev and Hans Bouffmyhre. Helrad has been working on a forthcoming EP coming out on Joe Farr's label "User Experience" along with a track on Jamaica Suk's quadruple vinyl album which will be released later in the year along with some very familiar names.

Clergy has become synonymous with a balance of atmospheric and hard hitting brand of techno ever since 2014. The boss's own music has been key to that, with carefully curated releases from guests such as Dax J, Kwartz, Reflec and Cleric himself. Helping to make the label an underground favourite. ‘Clergy Visions 01’ sees Cleric invite an array on techno heavyweights to contribute to this compilation that’s mixed by the label boss himself.

ᴠɪꜱɪᴏɴꜱ ⁰¹ | ᴄʟᴇʀɪᴄ

24-year-old Glasgow emerging techno producer Katalysk has been a presence on the Scottish circuit for the past six years playing a host of reputable venues such as Club 69, La Belle Angele, Stereo, Biscuit Factory, La Cheetah and Flat o/1, along with a handful of undisclosed locations. Katalysk is in the process of developing his own sound which, like his playing style, is a coherent blend of tough and functional tracks that maintain hypnotic and rhythmic overtones.

The young up and coming German DJ & producer has been making quite a name for himself over the last few years and has already found himself gracing some of Europe's best clubs from Berghain to Bassiani & Tresor.

Be it by running the SEELEN imprint, dismantling one of the stops on his quickly growing tour-schedule or delivering relentless, trance-tinged techno cuts with a clear nod to pulpy 80’s science fiction. His selection in his DJ-sets shows a particular sensibility to what makes Rave culture, with a unique take on Techno spanning modern chugger’s to old school EBM anthems.
