This is my recording from Friday night Room 2, 12:30-2am, my first time being at the mythical Free Rotation. Playing one of the first sets & seeing the room, decor and the big bad subs of Room 2, years of fantastical lore and reality melded, I wanted to keep it sexy, wonky, trippy— imagining a psychic electric swamp and how one would levitate thru it... to the sky. No bpm trickery this time. Out to the heavenly bodies of the universe! ;)

"This mix was closing Supercamp festival’s last ever edition, from 6 to 8pm on a sunday. Therefore we thought we do a reverse journey of intensity, starting with 140 pressure taking our time to slow all the way down to 120 during the 2hours - hitting 130 with mellow dub techno cuts or classic-feel ukg, and ending with a series of (very) warm closing tracks upon closing tracks. You’ll know by now that Bambi and Beatrice M. are pretty different in their approach to DJing, which makes it all the more interesting and fun for them to find the lovely middle ground they pleasantly settle in during their b2bs. For this one, the key word is: dub. »

The third offering in our mix series is a live recording of Priori and Cousin's dj set at Sustain Release 2024. Recorded on the last morning between 6am and 1pm on what was meant to be an ambient stage, it featured everything a 3 day festival closing set should. Eclectic picks, strange and emotional sounds, dubious transitions and a few feigned endings. Massive thanks to all the dancers, the Sustain staff (Aurora, Ash and everybody else who put their blood, sweat and tears into this), the music makers, the birds, the stars.

"The set is all playful, dubby, tecky, with some psy vibes and also a bit of deep and introspective bits. I played on a hot, sweaty afternoon during day 2—just as the sun was starting to cool down and the music heads that made up this special crowd were starting to get in all their feels. LOIF took over after me with his live set, carrying us into the darker hours of the night with his sexy psy vibes. It was such a magical moment, and I’m so glad to have it captured in this recording!"

Entasia – Another Dimension [TNT027]

“Lemmy Caution et ses Variantes” is a cinematic sonic journey inspired by the mythic presence of Lemmy Caution — the iconic detective portrayed in Jean-Luc Godard’s cult films Alphaville and Allemagne 90 Neuf Zéro. This three-track project blends experimental electronic textures with fragments of dialogue lifted directly from the films, recontextualizing them into hypnotic and dystopian soundscapes.

Through layered samples, analog atmospheres, and fractured rhythms, the album explores memory, surveillance, and identity, with each variation offering a new perspective on Lemmy's enigmatic voice and character.

Alphaville Alpha60 MIX – A reinterpretation focused on rhythm and contrast, where the presence of Alpha 60 becomes more haunting and mechanical.

Alphaville Original Mix – A raw introduction to the noir ambiance of Alphaville, with a minimal pulse and stark vocal cuts from Alpha 60.

Allemagne Neuf Zero – A cold, slow-burning piece invoking the post-Berlin Wall melancholy and philosophical tone of Godard's late vision of Lemmy.
