This is the first Shambhala mix I have ever done after all the years I have played this amazing Festival. Every time I have performed I've come away with countless memories & great moments. This year was exceptional, with DJ Premier, Jazzy Jeff, Skratch Bastid, The Gaff, Chali 2na & Cut Chemist, A.Skillz, Slynk, Fort Knox 5, Q Dup on a Saturday night. I have created the mix exactly how it was performed as  it was not recorded live. Big thanks to Rich E Rich for having me once again, I truly had the most incredible weekend. I hope you guys enjoy this mix as much as I had performing it !

This year Fort Knox Five and Qdup brought their four deck magic to the Living Room and the Amphitheater stages at Shambhala Music Festival. This set at the Living Room stage (aka the beach) was tailor made for a hot afternoon dancing in the sun and frolicking in the water. The mix is pure summer fun and showcases Fort Knox Five ft. Qdup's four deck set, which incorporates live mashed-up acapellas, effects, original tunes, and exclusive mixes with a ton of classic funk, modern glitch hop, a heathy dose of disco and a whole lot of musical sunshine!

2 years later,  Its still hard to believe that our friend Pumpkin is gone.  I had DJ'd a show with Nicholas in San Fransisco just 1 week before the accident and I'll never forget the morning I woke up to the news of his passing.  I instantly felt the hearts of so many being shattered including my own.  Since that time all I have felt is those shattered hearts come together and become stronger as Nicks legacy, music, and love lives on with us everyday.

Pumpkin will always be one of my favorite DJ's with his impeccable taste and the ability to touch the hearts of everyone on the dance floor thru music. This tribute mix was recorded following his Celebration of Life on Monday April 4th, 2016 and shared with some of Nicks closest friends at the Boogaloo Crew HQ in Los Angeles <3
