House legends X-Press 2 present a weekly House show exclusively on Ministry of Sound Radio!
The X-Press 2 story continues, house music stalwarts Rocky and Diesel continue to fly the flag. Their recently released long player 'The House of X-Press 2' once again saw them hooking up with some fabulous collaborators. Step forward Roland Clark, Alison Limerick, Doll, Tim Deluxe, Timo Garcia to name but a few. The guys are busy working on a follow up album as well as working on some more balearic influenced projects. With the 20th anniversary of the release of 'Muzik Express' approaching, there are also plans afoot to embark on a UK tour to celebrate this milestone, with possibly some more music to coincide. Meanwhile, the boys will continue to push all that's great and new in the world of proper house music for their weekly slot on Ministry of Sound Radio.

Following the release of his 2012 album RGB, Zombie Nation is a producer at the height of his powers, massively respected by his peers. Now, Turbo has enlisted some of its favorite artists to give the album a remix package that reflects both its quality and versatility.

The newest addition to Turbo's New Jack Techno stable, Bristol-based producer joeFarr's first EP for the label earned him instant recognition, and his follow-up EP -due this spring - is massive. Swedish veteran Zoo Brazil follows his string of huge Twin Turbo releases with yet another surefire peak-time bomb. Turbo also reunites with old flame Popof, hearkening back to the days before he became a big-name festival fixture. For this release, he brings his signature sound to one of the album's standout tracks.

Meanwhile, our rich love affair with the nation of Belgium continues with a remix from emerging up-and-comer Modek, who delivers a stadium-sized banger worthy of his heritage. Dutch duo TWR82 counts the likes of Erol Alkan, Brodinski, and Laidback Luke as supporters. Their version of "Pony" is clanging big-room techno that's both stripped-down and jacked-up, if you can even imagine that. Finally, rising New Jack Techno star J. 1) Tiga feat. Zyntherius - Sunglasses At Night

This track takes me right back to when I first started mixing techno, it was the 'go to' track for a change of pace and style. Only later did I find out about the original which became a guilty pleasure. This version of it though takes the best part of the vocal and strips it back, the drums and synth are perfect, nothing complex, just right. Check out the official video on youtube, LIPS.

2) Clouds - Those Cracks In Your face, Do They Hurt?

The vocal sample here is what does it for me. I mean the percussion, production, structure and that soaring synth/noise that builds around 3 minutes are all executed so well but the vocal sample elevates it to classic status.

3) Proxy - Who Are You - Pilo Remix

Well, this track is just disgusting. It takes me straight to a warehouse rave, shoves some pills down my throat and sets me off on a dancing mission, one of those dancing missions where your legs pay the price, for weeks. Pilo may have even out-filthed Proxy with this one.
