Oliver Smith has amassed over 20 million streams across his entire catalogue. As Anjunabeats' first signing and one of our label's oldest and dearest friends, he mixed the Anjunabeats Worldwide 08 compilation in 2018; featuring ten of his own tracks, it reached the #1 spot on the iTunes dance chart in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and more.

Oliver’s last single on Anjunabeats, ‘Blue Eagle’ with ilan Bluestone, earned support from Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Alexander Popov, Andrew Rayel and more, and appeared in Spotify’s ‘Trance Mission’, Apple’s ‘Trance & Progressive’ and Amazon’s ‘Trance Liftoff’ editorial playlists. Continuing to redefine and reinvigorate the sound of trance and progressive music, Grum finally pulls back the curtain on ‘Deep State’, his brand new artist album out now on Anjunabeats.

Reflecting the unsettling times we live in, ‘Deep State’ has moments of light and dark. It’s a showcase of Grum’s ability to craft pitch-black progressive and immersive vocal pop. The 10-track album is a refined take on the current state of progressive trance.

With tinges of classic trance and 90’s rave culture across the record, Grum embraces vintage dance floor ideas in a thoroughly modern way.
