British producer OCULA remixes ilan Bluestone and Giuseppe De Luca’s ‘Hopeless Dreamer’.

A regular on Lane 8’s This Never Happened label, OCULA has previously impressed on Anjunabeats with his remixes of Gabriel & Dresden and Andrew Bayer. He now adds a deep house take of ilan Bluestone and Giuseppe De Luca’s ‘Hopeless Dreamer’ to his arsenal, which featured on Ilan’s latest artist album ‘Impulse’, released in May 2021.

At the forefront of progressive and trance for almost a decade, ilan creates high energy trance with heart and soul. From barnstorming festival favourites ’43’, ‘Spheres’ and ‘Let Me Know’, to modern updates of genre classics like System F’s ‘Out Of The Blue’, Armin van Buuren’s ‘In And Out Of Love’ and OceanLab’s ‘On A Good Day’ and ‘Satellite’, his emotional, song-drive approach to dance music has earned him eleven genre chart #1’s on Beatport and a legion of fans around the world.

Songwriting takes centre stage on his new artist album ‘Impulse’ - love found and lost, attachment and disengagement. An 18-track journey through trance, progressive, synthwave, drum & bass and more, ‘Impulse’ showcases ilan’s versatility as a songwriter and producer.’ The spiritual successor to ‘Cosmic Feeling’ from his 2016 debut album ‘Scars’, ‘Hopeless Dreamer’ sees ilan once again pair up with long-term collaborator Giuseppe De Luca.
