Songwriting takes centre stage on his new artist album ‘Impulse’ - love found and lost, attachment and disengagement. An 18-track journey through trance, progressive, synthwave, drum & bass and more, ‘Impulse’ showcases ilan’s versatility as a songwriter and producer.

Giuseppe de Luca returns to the fold with five vocal contributions, including ‘What Do You Want From Me?’. The track was originally recorded in 1997 by 90’s alternative rock act Monaco, reaching No.11 on the UK single charts. “Great track, turn the snare up”, was the feedback provided by founding member of New Order, Joy Division and Monaco, Peter Hook.

Started djing when I was 15 to my parents and neighbours disdain, shock and outright misunderstanding. I began on limit belt drives, a mixer nobody ever heard of, an amp that i can only describe as stolen from your grandads stack system with speakers found at a junk yard piled on a table that was only fit to do the wallpapering pumping out happy hardcore, surrounded by rave posters and a big old SV slammin vinyl I painted on the bedroom wall. ahh, the 90s.
