Northern Irish producer GVN releases ‘So In Love’.

In 2021 GVN, aka Gavin Brown, dropped his Anjunabeats debut ‘I Don’t’ as a serious statement of intent. First introduced to the label by anamē’s Marcus Schössow, the two would go on to collaborate on the 700th Anjunabeats release, ‘Take Me There’, which earned spins from Lane 8, Kryder, Anja Schneider, Armin van Buuren, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Tibasko and many more.

The Derry-native showed no signs of slowing down in the years that followed, serving up remixes for the likes of Lange and Chakra and attracting support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong and Danny Howard. 

GVN kicked off this year with his dynamic double-header ‘Thinking About You / Believer’, which earned early support from BBC Radio 1’s Jaguar and on BBC Music Introducing in Sussex & Surrey.

Expect more new music from GVN in the coming months. ‘So In Love’ is out now on Anjunabeats.

Named after a small town in Sapporo, Japan, where she is from, ‘Miyanosawa’ was the final stop in a daily journey for Qrion to get to high school.

Celebrating the legacy of one of dance music’s most timeless acts, Above & Beyond and Justine Suissa present ‘OceanLab: The Anthology’, an extensive digital compilation released on Anjunabeats.

OceanLab is the chart-hitting project of Above & Beyond (Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki) and singer-songwriter Justine Suissa. Fifteen years after the release of their critically acclaimed 2008 LP, ‘Sirens of the Sea,’ The Anthology spans the full spectrum of the OceanLab sound, from early 2000s vocal trance classics to brand new remixes and never-before-heard acoustic reworks.

Four beloved OceanLab tracks see new acoustic reworks on this compilation: 'Miracle', 'Satellite', 'Sirens of the Sea', and 'On A Good Day'. Acoustic versions of these records were first featured on Above & Beyond’s 2014 ‘Acoustic’ album and subsequent live tour, which saw the British dance group debut a groundbreaking concert series in which they adapted a selection of their famous dance records with a 15-piece band and live vocals. Ten years later, these acoustic reworks have been remastered and now feature vocals by Justine Suissa for the very first time.

Alongside the Anthology digital compilation, Anjunabeats has released a limited edition vinyl box set. Housed in a premium-quality fabric-wrapped double slipcase with foil detailing, the box features four 12” single discs on crystal clear vinyl, a 10” ‘Another Chance’ single disc, and a special Anthology-edition repress of the original ‘Sirens of the Sea’ album. There is also an accompanying poster print, slipmat, and 28-page perfect-bound book containing notes from the band, never-before-seen photos, and exclusive sheet music arrangements with piano, guitar, and voice parts.

With a discography spanning over two decades - including top 20 UK single ‘Satellite’ (2004), two top 25 UK dance albums (‘Sirens of the Sea’ in 2008 and ‘Sirens of the Sea Remixed’ in 2009), and two top 10 UK dance singles (‘Clear Blue Water’ in 2003, and ‘Satellite’ in 2004) - OceanLab cemented themselves as a seminal dance act with an undeniably unique sound, where Justine Suissa’s compelling voice, lyrics and melodies take centre stage.

Above & Beyond's most recent single is their hit collaboration with Zoë Johnston, ‘Crazy Love’, an uplifting and ethereal trance record first debuted to 20,000 fans at the trio’s Group Therapy 500 celebration in Los Angeles in 2022. Kasablanca delivers the first half of their debut album ‘Higher Resolution’, bringing fans an 11-track Side A complete with seven new tracks.

Hitting milestone after milestone, Kasablanca has quickly risen through the ranks of dance music must-see acts over the past four years. Launching into the scene with their first singles in 2020, they struck gold with their hit collaboration with Lane 8, ‘Run,’ which has been streamed over 40M times, and they haven’t looked back since.  

The duo's journey has been explosive over the years since their first ‘Human Learning EP’ in 2020. Most widely known for their enthralling live performances, the duo has played some of the world's most well-known venues and festivals, like Printworks, Coachella, Red Rocks, and The Gorge, alongside shows across four continents. Their songs have also been heard worldwide on the radio, including features on BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM, the latter bringing in a #1 hit on BPM with ‘Run.’

In 2023, the duo sold out their first-ever headline tour focusing on legendary rock venues around North America.  Towards the end of the year, their final shows were cut short after revealing that frontman "Mickey" had been diagnosed with cancer. Following a short hiatus from touring and music at the start of this year, the release of their next collaboration with Lane 8, 'Remission' marked the official return of Kasablanca after the pair debuted the track during their LIVE sets at Ultra Music Festivals in Miami, Chile, and Peru.

Following ‘Remission,’ Kasablanca has been on a blistering pace over this past summer with three more lead-up singles and a run of over 20 tour dates this year, with another 20 still to come before the end of the year.  Singles ‘Terminal Feeling’ and ‘Daydream’ with anamē gave fans differing sonic styles from the melodic techno duo, with their viral anthem ‘Breathe’ finally landing in August.  The official cover of the 1996 hit by The Prodigy started with a viral video in 2023, and 10M views later has seen support worldwide from streaming platforms and radio stations alike.

With the Side A release of their debut album, ‘Higher Resolution, ’ Kasablanca now takes their next step on their meteoric rise. Led by the title track of the same name, the album brings fans on an epic journey from to finish.  Four new original mixes take center stage on the body of work, with ‘Clarity’ being a familiar anthem to fans who have seen Kasablanca live over the past six months as it tore up dance floors from Bonnaroo to Fabric and with multiple videos of the track on social media garnering millions of views.
