Returning to his Rumors imprint following the recently released ‘Rainchecks In Montreal’ in April, Guy Gerber delivers ‘Bocat’, a two track EP of the artist’s trademark intricate and expressive musicianship.

Teaming up with singer/songwriter Albertina for the enchanting title track, the duo combines guitar licks, shuffling percussion, and subtle synth lines with Albertina’s sublime vocal performance. On the flip, ‘Polaris’ sees Gerber take the wheels solo, drawing upon his years of expertise to craft a deep and moving piece complete with twinkling arps, deep low-end, and piano work.

Founded in 2014, Guy Gerber’s Rumors has played host to Dixon, Seth Troxler, P Diddy, and beyond, amassing a vast fanbase since the early clandestine beach parties on the White Island.

Acclaimed electronic duo Kasablanca present their second EP on Anjunabeats, ‘Lucid Audio’.

The EP comprises three previously-released singles, ‘Dream About You’, ‘Crucible’ and ‘Am I Dreaming?’, alongside new track ‘In Sequence’: a homage to 90's rave music mixed in with Kasablanca’s contemporary melodic techno sound. All of these tracks have received a rapturous reception during the band’s sold-out ‘Am I Dreaming?’ tour.

Kasablanca exploded onto the scene in summer 2020 with their collaboration with Lane 8, ‘Run’. What followed was a dream run: their debut album ‘Human Learning’, a Juno Award-nominated collaboration with Bob Moses in ‘Afterglow’, and joining us at Anjunabeats to release the ‘Immunity EP’, as well as remixing Above & Beyond’s ‘Black Room Boy’ as part of the ‘10 Years of Group Therapy’ celebrations. Their releases have been extensively supported by major names in dance music including A&B, Lane 8, David Guetta, Chris Lake, Anna Lunoe, Hardwell, Vintage Culture, James Hype, Benny Benassi, Rebuke and many more.

Kasablanca recently completed their ‘Am I Dreaming?’ tour, which took them to eight sold-out venues across North America, plus festival appearances in Brazil and India. Their live show (best described as Justice meets Queen meets Stephan Bodzin) is more comparable to a full-on performance like a rock show than a typical clubbing experience, replete with Prince-esque swagger and an extensive rig of analogue synthesizers on stage. Next up for them: supporting Above & Beyond at their sold-out Printworks London takeover, and joining our Anjunafamily pilgrimage to the Gorge for Group Therapy Weekender.

Kasablanca - In Sequence

Say What? is back with some new heavy hitting tracks this time coming from YAB (IT) aka I AM BAM and c-HAUTEM - the duo delivered 3 straight forward monsters ready to attack the floor 

We start with the main track 'Rising Force' - a real low-end roller that is destined to blow up speakers worldwide with its deep kick, groovy hats and a hypnotising vocal to top it off 

Second on the release is 'Love Know5' that kicks off at a slightly higher pace than the previous track, but keeping it dark and punchy. The low-slung groove and the floating melody in the back make this a perfect tune for the main rooms 

The third track is called 'Noir' - another piece of madness that will fit perfectly in many sets. Rough beats and rumbling lows, what the title states, showcase its darkness and tie the release together like a glue

Ben Rau has a knack for getting to the heart of what the dance floor needs and wants, and that’s because he's spent more than his fair share of time there. With releases on labels including Knee Deep in Sound , his own INKAL imprint and the iconic BBE Music , plus gigs all over the world everywhere from Amnesia to Glastonbury, BPM to Pitch Festival and a previous Fuse residency, his is a dance floor journey that is decades in the making. For his first release on MicroHertz he unleashes his ‘You Got Me Running EP’, and first out of the box is the lead and title track ‘You Got Me Running’ which will get people running to the dance floor when they hear it. On the flip side is ‘Heat It Up’. This has been a big performer for both Hamilton and Rau in their recent sets and it’s a classy groove laden affair which is Ben Rau's signature sound. Its captivating rhythm and vocal hook give this it’s exceptional quality and the energy really comes through and gets the dance floor in rapture. Both MicroHertz and Ben Rau have a reputation for releasing standout music that stands the test of time which makes this yet another must have release on Archie Hamilton’s influential imprint.
