Paris-based producer and live act Douran makes his Anjunadeep debut with the three-track EP ‘Sundancer’. His first two EPs, ‘Avalanche EP’ and ‘Rave To Infinity EP’, have amassed over 3m+ streams worldwide and gained press support including DJ Mag (France), Magnetic Magazine and Clash Magazine. 

Title track ‘Sundancer’ opens the EP, with soft piano melodies and ambient strings. ‘Slow Burner’ leads with an array of emotive strings whilst ‘Passing Lights’ features percussive-laden rhythms and warming vocals. Douran’s latest showcases his cinematic production style.

Douran - Slow Burner

'After a successful release on High Tide Recordings back in 2020 we welcome back Monty Ozanne, the 25 year old DJ & producer from London, England and an all round nice guy!

With various parties and events on the South Coast of the UK as his inspiration, Monty has honed his sound in House and Techno, taking big inspiration for tracks which are both melodic and very dance floor friendly.

With releases on Made Crazy Music, ONOU, Sub-Label Recordings, Oscuro Music, Koda Recordings and Optimal Sonance showcasing his versatility as a producer, Monty continues to push the boundaries with his ability to release brand new music while also showcasing himself as a very competent DJ. 3 original tracks and a remix from our good friend DENNEY complete this great package.

Monty Ozanne 'Murphy’s Law': Analogue, melodic vibes with a dreamy arpeggio, dystopian synths and a sick breakdown (very much on a Collectives States tip hence we signed it)!!

Monty Ozanne 'Marius': If we had to describe this track in only 5 words it would be BEAUTIFUL, QUALITY, DEEP, DREAMY and MELODIC! This is definitely one for the more discerning palate.'

D-Formation is back on Einmusika. This time he teamed up with Masella for an epic melodic EP full of warm and almost cinematic sounds. "Ahura Mazda" starts calm and reduced with the lead melody next to moody piano chords. Later the track opens up with wide strings and rhythmic patterns. "Mitra" is straight forward with a deep legato bassline and an uplifting arpegiator synth. On top we added Anahita, a beatiful ambient journey with wide soundscapes and atmopsheres.

OLAN (real name Luzana Flores) is proud to release her debut album ‘Contra’, out now via independent record label Anjunadeep. The release follows three powerful singles; ‘Wake And Return’, ‘Promise To Keep’, and ‘Ultraviolet’ which have garnered support from the likes of KCRW, Jody Wisternoff, Dosem, Eelke Kleijn, Made In Paris, Steven Weston, and Braxton to name a few.

The culmination of many months in solitude, ‘Contra’ began as a natural form of escape and expression for OLAN, helping her find peace amidst the years of uncertainty brought on by the pandemic:

“‘Contra’ is an album I wrote as a way to find some peace with my life having no definitive purpose at the time. I often try to attach meaning to everything I encounter. I force myself to re-live memories. I’ll try to unpack them and see how I could change my reality if I had just been a better person.”

Musically, ‘Contra’ is inculcated with a variety of electronic styles from melodic house, breakbeat, downtempo and drum & bass, to ambient and hip-hop. Influenced by the likes of Maribou State, Little Dragon, T.E.E.D and Bonobo, as well as the cult video game ‘Outer Wilds’, the sound of ‘Contra’ is fluid and alluringly hard to pin down. OLAN’s penchant for textural soundscapes is showcased in atmospheric tracks such as ‘Push’ and ‘Submerge’ and the buoyant Balearic vibes of ‘Material’. Conversely, the jungle rhythms and acid basslines on ‘Promise To Keep’ and ‘Reckoning’ demonstrate how raw, energetic dance-inducing songwriting comes naturally to the Atlanta-based producer.

This songwriting versatility is also showcased in OLAN’s colourful catalogue, which includes co-writing credits for ‘Bussit’ with Ari Lennox, collaborations with Mat Zo on his 2020 album ‘Illusion of Depth’, the single release of ‘In Motion’ with rising star Nourey, and ‘Push’, first released on Anjunadeep’s Reflections series.

With Apir we are happy to introduce a new name, but yet a familiar producer behind this moniker. Tim Green has been around for quite some time now and just released his well-received album on Cocoon Recordings last year.

While Tim Green's sound is very melodic & playful, Apir has a much more stripped back approach, focused on a certain sound and direction. We felt this was the perfect follow up to our very own 'X' EP on Siamese.

'Emphatic' has the hallmarks of a Tim Green production, but develops differently than expected. It starts very laid back and the long intro prepares for what follows - a long build to the climax that drops without the typical fanfare or white noise sounds. Tight and snappy percussion kicks in and from here on the track is rolling, putting you in a hypnotic state of mind.

On the flip we find 'Sync Assist' taking up the tempo a notch. It's a bit rougher, with a hint of electro without losing the melodic touch. Both tracks have been regulars in our sets for months now and it's great to finally share this record with all of you.

We expect to hear more about Apir aka Tim Green in the future.

Eli & Fur’s Into The Night EP saw the duo reaffirm their club sensibilities, plying impassioned lyrics amongst deep techno-leaning productions. Much like the reimagining of their Night Blooming Jasmine EP, Eli & Fur once again get the remix treatment courtesy of John Monkman, Black Circle, and Ben Yang in Into The Night EP (The Remixes).

Endorsed by the likes of Crosstown Rebel's Damian Lazarus, Danish titan Noir and LNOE boss Sasha, the UK’s John Monkman takes on 'You and I’, emphasising the original’s vocal hook with addictive stuttered synths. With releases on Radiant and Saved Records, Black Circle makes his Anjunadeep debut with his remix of ‘Into The Night’, an afro-centric piece full of driving arpeggios. Lastly, label debutant Ben Yang imparts his tech-house sound to Eli & Fur’s ‘You and I’, a remix reminiscent of Anjunadeep’s progressive roots.
