Following a statement Anjunadeep debut with 2016's 'Over Clouds' EP, Germany's Koelle makes a welcome return to the label with four track EP 'Another Land'. 

First up title track and emotive deep cut 'Another Land'; a familiar moment from the label's recent iTunes dance #1 album 'Anjunadeep 08', given a special Deep 08 edit by Anjuna stalwart Jody Wisternoff and label boss James Grant; also featuring as the closing track on the package. Maintaining the momentum, another Deep 08 favourite, textured percussive cut 'Last Words'. Lastly, 'The Void', a quirky melodic groover layering delicate keys and vocal chants alongside a chugging bassline groove.

Koelle - Another Land EP

With our upcoming release on the digital market via Flat 7 records, we wanted to give out this remix done for the track "Trying to Be Cool" by Phoenix. They made available the vocals and samples on the track so we decided to make a version of our own with the vocals. Hope you all like it!

With the release of his debut artist album ‘Rise’ on Anjunadeep last summer Lane 8 aka Daniel Goldstein established himself as one of the electronic scene’s most exciting talents, warranting a stream of support from international tastemakers including Pete Tong, Jason Bentley and Annie Mac along with glowing coverage from The New York Times, Mixmag and The Fader. 

Lane 8 follows with a collection of high calibre remixes from a host of talented producers, along with new mixes from Anjunadeep stalwart Jody Wisternoff, emerging British talent Theo Kottis, as well as his own rework of album opener ‘Loving You’.

Lane 8’s rework of 'Loving You’ twists the vocal finesse of Lulu James into a brooding tech-house roller that explores the darker side of Goldstein’s production; an undeniable dance floor weapon. Fresh off the heels of his Anjunadeep debut ‘Into The Wild’, Theo Kottis takes to the stage again with an atmospheric down-tempo remix of melodic gem ‘Klara’.

Jody Wisternoff offers a hallmark uplifting remix of vocal track ‘Sunlight’. Wisternoff layers a punchy bassline groove with mellow synths beneath the summery topline. Further remixes come from some of the scenes most in demand names, including Audion (aka Matthew Dear), Moon Boots, Kiwi, Yotto and Bwana.

Following his first label outing earlier this year with ‘Away’, a feature on various artists EP 'Anjunadeep Explorations 02’ that attracted international support from BBC Radio 1’s B.Traits, Claude VonStroke, John Digweed, Tensnake, Lee Burridge among others, Luttrell makes his EP debut with four new house cuts in ‘Need You’. Following in the footsteps of rising talents Luttrell, Theo Kottis and Aiiso, young Finnish producer Tontario marks a new wave of talent joining Anjunadeep over the past 12 months. Making his first label outing last summer on the second installment of the ‘Explorations’ various artist EP series, followed by a pair of contributions on 2016’s iTunes Dance #1 album ‘Anjunadeep 08’, Tontario now presents his debut EP on the label with ‘Solitude’. 

Title track ‘Solitude’ is an atmospheric roller featuring dreamy vocals from fellow Finn, Lake Jons. A stand out moment from ‘Anjunadeep 08’ alongside his stunning rework of Ólafur Arnalds’s ‘Öldurót’. The EP’s second track ‘Late’ blends gentle grooves with blissful piano melodies before ‘Passing’ serves up darker dance floor vibes with Tontario’s trademark cinematic touch. Closing the EP is ‘Revenge’, a reflective deep cut that layers strings alongside haunting keys and layered organic sounds.

Emeli Sandé has teamed up with Underworld's Rick Smith for 'Here It Comes', which will be used for Danny Boyle's new movie 'Trance'
