I genuinely feel like most of my life I've been saying goodbye; as if the only way to say hello again is to say goodbye. This was an awfully difficult life lesson for me to learn but I got it and I got it just in time. From the death of loved ones, to physically moving away, to emotionally and mentally moving away, it's all painful but this track speaks of the eventual and evident triumph that comes after pain. This is my favourite song of the album

Disconnect speaks on the possible cause of many of our problems today; disconnection. It compares the need to be connected to other sources like our phones verses the lack of enthusiasm to be connected to each other. I think disconnection and lack of communication is widely responsible for the loneliness epidemic and generations of people who can diagnose what their devices need but not what they need to be happy.

Annalie Prime is a Roots-Pop singer, songwriter and music composer. Her sound is a fusion of genres with roots elements like Calypso, Reggae, Blues, Jazz and  Folk. In 2020, Annalie released her debut album entitled "I Think Too Much" which revolves around the topic of mental health and self improvement. In an interview with Laura Dowrich for Caribbean Beat Magazine, she described the album as " a bunch of journal entries". In 2021 she released her sophomore album entitled "Nine". In an interview via Loop News TT , she said that the album was created as a response to the "sudden rise in gender based violence". The singer also added that she wanted to, "Celebrate, uplift and inspire the WOMAN" with the latest project.
