We are very proud to present the first of many organically grown collaboration between One Man Verity Show and The Beautiful Dark. This was effortless. I guess thats the other amazing thing that real musicians can share... For years we stare through our instruments at the world of music and then someday we connect and the visions combine. We'll keep comparing our world to the world of fake music until it is the fad that it should be... AI cannot deliver you a connection like we just started. You may get a remotely similar result but heres whats real... AI has never has our eyes to look at the woerld for 40 odd years with and it never will. Heres to real human connections and real music. For every child who’s been told they’re “too much” or “not enough”

A neurodivergent mind trying to survive the noise, the lights, the looks, the labels. Misunderstood by teachers. Isolated by classmates. Always one step behind, or three steps ahead, but never quite where the world expects.

Until one quiet moment, and in my case, the sound of a clarinet.
It didn’t fix everything, but it gave my chaos a rhythm, and my mind some space to breathe.
(It won’t be the answer for everyone, but it helped me begin to find my way.)

The high priest looked the monk straight into the eyes 
“You search for wisdom, want to see through disguise 
Then hear the clap of only one hand, 
Imagine tasting the kiss of only one lip!”

The monk was puzzled, did not know what to make of this question 
His mind was racing without the slightest suggestion 
The meaning was hiding so deep 
He could as well go to sleep

And as he lay down he thought and he thought some more, 
And soon he’d snore a Monkish snore 
Deep in his dream he saw the cosmic law 
As it is and will be and has been before

To find the truth you need to see the world through different frames,
As place and motion, time and energy play Heisenberg’s games
The one single truth, the clap of one hand deceives the ancient lore

And then his dream shifted to our world
Where flags of dogma are unfurled
Where it’s en vogue to scorn the views of those 
Whose minds are differently curled

They yell their slogans convinced that it's only their kind who knows truth
They silence doubt and debate to keep everything smooth
They vote in blocs convinced others mean harm
They don't want to discuss they don’t want to disarm
They spit poison and phlegm - 
Them is us, us is them

The monk awakened quite surprisingly rested – and something like pride filled his chest 
The dream had opened his eyes and he knew the deep meaning that the koan expressed 
And so as fast as his feet could carry him he ran to the temple ground Requesting to see the high priest and as soon as he met him he told him the solution he found:

“Avoid the clap of one hand 
'Cause you can not understand 
The world in all its true colors if your mind cannot bend 

Every Current or Tide 
Must with others collide, 
A single stream is quite boring, nothing happens inside.

Seek out the voices that are not like your own – 
Don’t guard your comfort like a dog protects its chewed upon bone

You might discover greeater insights without cheap harmony

Summer is marked by certain experiences, from swimming, to strolls along boardwalks, to...well...waiting in queues of all kinds as summer sees people fill outdoor spaces. Keith has a keen eye for observing these experiences and finding humour and stories in  all of it.

Note: the term "poutine" on the side of the chip truck makes this a uniquely Canadian flavour  :)

I can't seem to put down the guitar now that I've picked it back up! Played around with layering some kind of simple repetitive loops to create a hypnotic atmosphere on this one.

Sky Above Clouds

So nice that my longtime collaborator friend @dough-factory has returned to SoundCloud after a break of a couple years! This is our first track working together since then and it came together in a really cool way. I was inspired by Ryan's electronic drums and bass to lay down some rhythm guitar as well as a few synth leads. Then he came up with some awesome lyrics/vocals that I think captures the vibe of this piece quite well.

Keep an eye out for more from us, we are thinking of pulling together a whole album or EP over the coming months.

Just find this Special Rnb Ragga Lover collab Song made about 7 years ago, but never been released, 
It's an humble mix, but sound quiet good &  people may enjoy it! So here i share it. 
It's  one of the track i made with  Tony Dubbz, Young Fresh from Usa 
I am since few years single & do have others things in mind than a lover, such as social & financial, personnal & universal  issues .. i got yet many song about standing up within struggles & may do more.

I hope you will enjoy this orchestral soundtrack that was originally commissioned for a game under CC license (so, I can also post it over here). The author of the game asked to aim for something hopeful, meditative, optimistic and encouraging, he said "try thinking of it as the music for a ritual, a sort of initiation" and didn't put any limitation on what the genre or instrumentation should be. So, we went for this short orchestral cue. The original name was "New Hopes" but when my husband compiled the visuals from the VideoBlocks free stock videos we decided to rename it to "Dream of a Child".

The worrying situation for all life on this planet and my personal take on it all is a lack of vision at this most important turning point in human evolutionary history from the leadership at the top throughout the world as we plod on with our human made self perpetuating blinkered destruction, putting profit before planet and seemingly unable to break the cycle, ever since i was a kid back in the 60s i have seen nothing but the same re-vamped political nonsense and corruption at all levels of society with 0 change as we continue to follow and embrace and set further into stone the same visionless materalistic and religious idealistic values which are layered with a thick coating of personal stigmas and bad vibes we put upon each other, which over time have now been engraved and built into our psychological makeup, leaving the true vision and prize lost which is now endagering all life upon the planet and if a fundimental change and shift doesnt happen we will destory the lot on this unique floating paradise oasis garden for all life in the eternal darkness, good food for thought while i hope you enjoy this original and positive fun filled thought provoking electronic alternative rock styled triple track remix and good vibe collaboration featuring the very kewl words and vocals of the very talented Couch King Presents and ENILSounds! Celebrate life we are all brothers & sisters! Peace! :D
