“I felt very honoured to be invited to Waha again after a two year break. I would like to say thanks to Tudor and Monica and the whole crew. I was so overwhelmed by the reaction of the audience, just fantastic. Thanks to everybody, who was there, danced and shared these moments. Thanks to Bucuresti Underground to give me the possibility to share it again with you I hope this one feeds your memory again with all the love and peace we all felt at Waha. 

As you can hear my performance has some quite controversial moments like in the beginning, a recording I did on a protest march in Berlin, a moment, when the situation was escalating nearly. I mean we should not take love and peace for granted or democracy or life at all. We sometimes have to fight for our ideals and values, for equal rights, for freedom, for tolerance, for others or for nature and definitely we have to fight against fascism, racism, oppression, exploitation and so on. This all is very important for me and this is also a part of my music. Waha 2019 was such a great experience for me. I received so much love and all you gave me so much motivation to continue what I do. Thanks you very much!

Berlin’s Dr.Nojoke, also founder of Unoiki, comes back to Archipel with is second album “Glandridi”.
Like he describes his style himself, his “clikno” music covers a range of heavy drums with layers of field recordings, as well as home made percussions.
This new release brings on new grounds while keeping the same approach, Bogdan brings on strange voodoo chanting as well as twisted percussion signature.
While this whole compilation of tracks has a narrative, you’ll also be thrown an exploration of emotional palettes.

I premiered my new improvised performance "Prologue", 
which is based on 3 synthesizers with 4 oscilators each, 3 of which tuned in octaves, plus an extra channel for modulations and 3 effect channels with delays and distortion.

The second output in the MAT editions series on @clikno is a bass-heavy affair over four sides by Dr.Nojoke. Separated into the EPs “Anonymity” and “Intimacy” this release called "AI" is due to be released on August 7th, 2020. 

The digital world and social media in particular change our perception and behavior; our values and morals undergo a transformation and shift. How much are we still anonymous? How much are we still intimate (with us/with others)? What does anonymity and intimacy mean to us today?

Dr.Nojoke shows on AI his deeper, darker, bassier and trippier side.

"Petar Plet Plete" is based on a Bulgarian tongue twister. The chant hypnotizes with its layers and endless repetitions over a straight Maurizio-esque groove with melodic percussion in odd time signature.
