Artist of many mediums. Born in Detroit Michigan, USA. Currently in Raleigh, NC. My passion sits between lines of writing & story telling. I devote deep passion toward my poetry and finding the perfect artist to collaborate with. 
My work takes you on a journey; "from horrified to entranced". 

I fill my time wisely with projects.... I make digital shock art, tiny hats, and pretty much any other wayward or DIY project I can dream up. I am a "thrifty-grifter-psychologist" type seeking melodic thrill. 

I both give and demand respect. That's a thing.  I speak most dialects of inner-city wayward folk, relax man, it's music, we can jive if you play fair.

Rights will be divided between the artists involved in a remix of my/our work in a written or spoken agreement with me only, no third party agreements without consent, you may not not share collaborated tracks on other sites without my consent and upon approval you must send me the URL of the location of all posts, If there is revenue, ad, post, traffic, pay per click or otherwise you must provide this information or you are in breach of contract, no exceptions. I worked hard on my end, I expect the same of you. I also require a copy of every track made at the highest quality achieved in the production process. I will never sell these copies without permission and split profits, the same I ask of everyone else.  Most of the time proceeds are split 50/50, though some exceptions are made this stipulation unless otherwise agreed upon. Syn Soundz is the future of music...PERIOD!! 

The B.H.D. “The black Hotel’s Doorkeepers” is a French Cold Wave / Post Punk project, which was formed in 2102, to indulge mastermind David Droz’ musical roots. In 2013 the first songs appeared on the internet and caused a lot of attention, with their distinctive Joy Division influence, without sounding like a second class cover band. 
Soon The B.H.D. decided, to release their first album “Nothing is Colder than You”, with the German label “Cold Insanity Music”, on September 2014.
Early 2015, The B.H.D. decided to release their second album “Dancing in the shadow”, in collaboration with the French music label “Manic Depression records”. 

Driving bass guitars, demo-like, partly screaming guitars, a melancholic baritone and systematic placed synths are the basis of a lot of The B.H.D.’s songs. 
The B.H.D.’s albums “Nothing Is Colder than You” and “Dancing in the Shadow” carries melancholy in a way, which is quite unique nowadays. Cold Wave and Post Punk meld into a one-of-a-kind mixture and will not only let the old Joy Division fans’ hearts beat higher, but also bring back the glorious 80s to a younger audience.

Mikayla’s big break came when she spent two years working with Producer Terry King, who arranged more than forty of her original songs. Together, they “tested the waters” by releasing a demo, it was picked up by hundreds of Indie stations and FM Radio. This had ultimately led to a recording contract with V2D Records. “Mikayla can write songs in any genre; she is not only beautiful, she is a talent to be reckoned with; her stage show is contagious, and her voice phenomenal” says V2D Records CEO, Debbie King. Though her contract ended with Vision to Destiny records in January 2017, Mikayla still continues her work independently and is releasing a single every 2-3 months with plans of touring this year to spread her brand of rock and roll to the masses. Mikayla concentrates on releasing hit singles, rather than albums. Mikayla’s music is being heard in 195 countries around the world…she is a guest on some of the biggest talk shows on the planet.
“My goal is to write songs for the future…songs that will stand the test of time…the type of songs that will immediately take you back to that ‘feel good’ emotion you had when you first heard it…and you will want to listen to it over and over,” says Mikayla. “I feel like my time with Vision to Destiny Records was when I found myself and my sound...it took a while but I really feel like we hit the nail on the head…music that brings the baby boomer generation together with the millennials. 
Future projects include the writing of the Rock Opera “Dreamland”, a screenplay and 22 new Mikayla songs are in the works, which has already generated interest from the theatrical community from the release of her latest hit singles “OZ”, "Come to Life" and “Come to the Dark Side”.
