In this vinyl mix, you can hear both needle jumps and enthusiastic screams of people, agree - this is an incredible magic of sound. At this difficult time for all of us, when the world is on the verge of something terrible, the spirit of our party was not broken - we danced and will dance like the last time!

Heute präsentiere ich heute die erste Ausgabe einer kleinen Mini-Serie von 4 LIVE-Sessions die ich euch im Laufe des Jahres 2018 kredenzen möchte. Den Anfang macht der junge Live-Techno Künstler Anschein. aus Marburg.

Adrian aka Anschein. ist ein wahrer Vollblutmusiker. Seine Bühnenkariere startete er bereits vor 12 Jahren als Schlagzeuger der Stoner und Psychedelic Band „Cliffsight“. Mit der Band kamen bisher zwei LP-Veröffentlichungen auf Vinyl und diverse Singelauskopplungen raus. Aber Adrian ist nicht nur Schlagzeuger sondern spielt auch als Bassist in diversen anderen Projekten. Vor ca. 5 Jahren hat er sich dann für Zuhause ein Kaosspad von Korg geholt um besser allein Musik machen zu können. In der Frankfurter Rockszene hat er dann Musiker gefunden die ihm die Welt der digitalen Produktion näher gebracht haben. Mit diesen Leuten hat er dann einen zwanglosen Mix aus Drum’n Bass, Dub, Rock und Electro gespielt --- das ganz aber immer Live. Wie es die Veränderungen immer so mit sich bringen, hat sich die Formation dann so langsam aufgelöst. Doch die Leidenschaft für die elektronischen Klänge ist geblieben und so hat sich sein Sound in den letzten 3 Jahren immer mehr dem Techno angenähert.

„Acid Techno und Acid House findet man in meiner Musik als Thema eigentlich in jedem Set. Ich liebe diese sich stetig entwickelten Sounds, die nie Enden scheinen zu wollen. Ich glaube, dass es zwischen dem Psychedelic-Sound der 70er und Acid viele Überschneidungen gibt. Es geht immer um einen beständige Entwicklung von Klangbildern. Beide Musikrichtungen sind sehr dynamisch und abwechslungsreich.

Das aktuelle Set habe ich insbesondere mit Ableton 10 erarbeitet. Jedoch benutze ich die Tr8 immer als Drumcomputer und spiele die Drumpattern immer live ein. Ansonsten benutze ich noch die Ableton Push, den Beatstep Pro von Arturia und die Ultra Nova von Novation.“

Anschein. meinte der Podcast soll „speechless“ heißen, da er mit diesem Set das ausdrücken kann wozu ihm im Moment die Worte fehlen. Adrian was soll ich sagen … ich bin ebenfalls sprachlos was du hier für ein Knaller-Set abgeliefert hast. Tausend Dank für deine Liebe zur Musik und ich hätte mir keinen Besseren wünschen können für den Start dieser kleinen LIVE-Session Reihe. So genug der Worte … nun aber viel Spaß mit sprachlosen Klängen von Anschein.
