[ALN024] “Tinto Verano” foi produzido durante o verão de 2022 e traz-nos um gosto nostálgico dos anos 90 e 2000. DJ 420@ôa começa este EP com uma faixa trancey melódica que nos transporta para Ibiza. “Verano Jam” é assim a primeira faixa deste EP onde o artista utiliza um sample do hit “Summer Jam” . Na segunda música, “Nelly Trunfado”, cria um Eurodance emotivo. A terceira faixa do disco é a “Need For Bass”, um trance inspirado em bass e jungle e nas perseguições de alta velocidade do “Need For Speed” . O EP acaba com “Late afternoon drink” num registo mais techno-trance. O disco conta ainda com remixes de Ecstasya, Phaser, VTF e Bleid. “Need For Bass” foi remisturada por Ecstasya que trouxe Hyper Pop e Hard Techno, e por VTF que traz a energia do Jersey Club e breaks. Phaser fez um remix electro-techno da “Nelly Trunfado” e Bleid deu à “Late Afternoon Drink” um batimento de techno.

[ALN024] “Tinto Verano” was produced by DJ 420@ôa during the summer of 2022 and brings us a nostalgic taste of the 90s and the 2000s. DJ 420@ôa starts this EP with a trancey melodic track that transports us to Ibiza. “Verano Jam” is the first track of this EP, and its where the artist has used a sample of the hit “Summer Jam”. On the second song, “Nelly Trunfado”, he creates an emotive Eurodance. The third track of the record is “Need For Bass” a trance song inspired in bass, jungle and the “Need For Speed” high speed pursuits . DJ 420@ôa finishes with “Late afternoon drink” in a techno-trance vibe. The record also counts with remixes made by Ecstasya, Phaser, VTF and Bleid. “Need For Bass” was remixed by Ecstasya that brought Hyper Pop and Hard Techno, and also by VTF who brought the Jersey Club and breaks. Phaser did a remix electro-techno of “Nelly Trunfado” and Bleid gave to “Late Afternoon Drink” a beat of techno.

@nozagam is a solo project by French experimental-club producer Etienne Zastko who takes a bleak view of a destructive Anthropocene Epoch, in which “utopias can’t exist and we’ve lost our way in our blind devotion to technology”. The album pieces together a chronology of catastrophic events. A fictionalized soundtrack to humankind’s end-cycle. The abrasive textures and suffocating atmosphere immerse us into a total universe where everything that could have gone wrong has. Affirmations and tech bro optimism didn’t quite cut it. And if those disembodied voices that sporadically reach out are the survivors, that’s not good news.

The visual aesthetic of Zagam is one of fusion, a medieval plague doctor mask with a 23rd-century twist. “Anthropocene” mines a similarly disparate set of influences, spanning an evermore hybridized clubspace. Gqom, grime, industrial techno, footwork: everything is fair game. The rich musical background and hard sonic palette of Zagam make for a perfect match for the hybrid electronics approach of Unizone.
