I do not use parts, phrases, sequencings, beats, etc. done by other musicians.

Music is the most important thing to me (both listening and composing).
I'm a lover of ...
- (substantial) instrumentals (like the music of Thomas Detert, Jeroen Tel or Gustaf "Lizardking" Grefberg) and 
- synthesizers - my favourite of all synths in this world (like moog, oberheim, etc.) : The "SID" (I like the clear sound of the 8580 the most).

So I have got a lot of music ...
- made on SID (musicians of "Maniacs Of Noise", "X-ample Architectures" and "Vibrants" deserve special mention)
- in formats like *.mod, *.xm, *.it, *.s3m
- on gramophone and vinyl records, CDs, audiocassettes

Born in 1973 in Berlin (west).
First steps on the piano in 1976.
First own 'band' (together with a school friend) in the early 1980s.
Synth band "Modern Age" since 1992 (until today).
Named as "Soundvortex" ("SVX") since 1993.

Jeff LaPlante is a composer/producer and multi-instrumentalist out of Western Massachusetts. Jeff has been writing music for 30+ years and has performed throughout New England with bands such as Entropy, Devil Does Destiny, and The LaPlante Brothers.  In 2020, Jeff made the jump to production music for film and television and has found success with libraries all over the world. When Jeff isn’t composing music, he is teaching students how to read and write, as an elementary school teacher, and also giving private music lessons in piano, guitar, and drums.

A lifelong music lover and musician, Jerome performed in nightclubs with rock cover bands in the 1980s.  Though he no longer performs live, he continues to write and record music in his home studio.  Jerodet Music was created to market his original compositions to the TV and film industry.  His music ranges from quirky pop to EDM to orchestral/synth hybrid, and much in between.
