🎶 Tongue tongue tongue tied! Originally cooked up by Anthony, this song found a second life when I basically took it over. I had a chat with Anthony about any tracks he created that he never ended up using, and this was one of them. It didn’t have a title yet, so I had to come up with something completely from scratch when it came to the lyrics and melody. There were actually two other songs that he produced but never used and gave to me to finish. They’re called “These Nights” and “Quitting Time.” We’re releasing one of these soon, so keep an eye and ear out!

There’s a story behind the catchy beat and infectious melody here. The lyrics might seem like it’s about a relationship that makes me nervous, but in reality, they mirror the symptoms and sensations of a panic attack, something I grapple with personally. It's a musical window into the world of anxiety.

Fun fact: My original version clocked in at a cool 3:27. I repeated the first verse and another chorus at the end to get it over three minutes. Yes, in hindsight, that does seem pretty unnecessary, but I like my three minutes songs. We decided to trim the unnecessary bits in this version because, hey, short and sweet is the new cool, right? We’re lucky if a song hits two minutes these days.
