Jenö's "Beats In Space Radio" Mix - Nov 2009

A while back Soundcloud, god bless 'em, bumped this particular mix of mine off its server because of a silly copyright issue stemming from the first track. But have no fear - I did a little bit of editing tomfoolery to try and outsmart soundcloud's copyright gestapo and, for the time being, it looks like it worked! This mix is by far one of my most favorite mixes I've done in the history of my Tropical residency and I'm excited to be able to share it once again. I strongly recommend that you download immediately just in case the powers that be strike again. :-)

Here's a portion of my set recorded from the GRAVITY party in Los Angeles. It's raw, spontaneous, 100% all vinyl, AND it's downloadable. First record went on at 3am right after DUBTRIBE SOUNDSYSTEM'S excellent live performance and I continued playing until 6:30. At long last we release the final set of 2019's legendary Tropical Oasis Retreat Maui by legendary DJ and producer Jimpster of Freerange Records, London.

Tropical fell in with Jimpster after his 6 hour set at Tropical Hearts Spring Festival in collaboration with a very young Desert Hearts back in 2013, which created some of our most memorable dance floor moments  (You can find that set deep in our Soundcloud track history in 2 parts).

Jimpster aka Jamie Odell was back to headline Tropical Oasis Retreat in California in 2015, and finally for our best production ever, Tropical Oasis Retreat Maui in March 2019.

Fortunately Tropical took 2020 off from producing events following NYE in Los Angeles, and we all know what came in March.  

Here's to hope for 2021!

This set released Saturday, November 7th, 2020 a day for celebration!
