✤ YEONJUN ✤

Yeonjun started as a professional DJ in 1999, as a resident at club Matmata, located in Hongdae, Seoul. The club was an iconic house music club that ravers from that time period still remember and cherish to this day. During his residency, he introduced artists such as Derrick Carter to the listeners in Seoul.

In 2011, Yeonjun moved to the Itaewon area in Seoul to open Mystik, yet another iconic house/techno venue that is well known as one of the most prestigious clubs in Asia even after its closure. In year 2016, he opened a venue called Deviate in Hannam-dong, an area close to Itaewon.

Yeonjun is a true safeguard of the electronic music scene in Seoul, a great director that built up many iconic clubs, and a great DJ whose selections have a whole history of their own.


디제이연준은 1999년 서울 홍대에 위치한 클럽 마트마타의 레지던트로 전문 DJ를 시작했다. 그 클럽은 그 시대부터 오늘날까지 여전히 기억하고 소중히 여기는 상징적인 하우스 음악 클럽이었다. 레지던트 기간 동안 그는 서울에 있는 청취자들에게 데릭 카터 같은 예술가들을 소개했다.

2011년, 연준은 MYSTIK을 열기 위해 서울 이태원 지역으로 활동을 옮겼으며, MYSTIK은 문을 닫은 후에도 아시아에서 가장 유명한 클럽 중 하나로 잘 알려진 또 다른 상징적인 하우스/테크노 베뉴이기도 하다. 그는 2016년 이태원 인근 지역인 한남동에 DEVIATE를 열었다.

디제이연준은 서울 일렉트로닉 음악계의 진정한 수호자, 많은 우상적인 클럽을 만든 디렉터이며, 그리고 그들만의 역사를 가진 DJ이다.

Minkyu is a DJ based in Seoul, playing house-oriented music. He has been playing Chicago/Detroit/Classic House, based on the music he first found attracted to. Driven by the groovy sounds and minimal elements, Minkyu brings in a wide variety of house music and melts it in his set with his own unique flow under a steady pace. With a great passion for music and djing, he craves for development. Minkyu will keep moving forward to achieve what he pursues.


Minkyu 는 서울에서 활동하며 하우스 음악을 기반으로 플레이하는 DJ이다. 처음 그가 가장 많은 매력을 느끼고 영향을 받은 음악들을 토대로 Chicago/Detroit/Classic 하우스를 플레이해왔으며, 그루브한 사운드와 미니멀한 요소들에 이끌려 다양하고 폭넓은 하우스 음악들을 자신의 셋안에서 고유의 흐름과 긴 호흡으로 녹여낸다. 그는 음악과 디제잉에 대한 열정을 바탕으로 발전을 갈구하며, 자신이 추구하는 바를 이루기 위해 앞으로 계속 나아갈 것이다.

Yeonjun (Ring Seoul, O-Range)
 Yeonjun is a vinyl DJ based in Seoul.  He provides an immersive original sound that resonates between the past and the present through sounds derived from genres of various categories, including minimal, trance, and techno.  Currently, he works as a resident DJ at Ring, a club that expresses vinyl sounds. As the founder of MYSTIK, which became a legend in the Seoul underground scene, he is a true guardian of the Seoul electronic music scene and has a history of creating many iconic clubs.
