For the 27th Schmaus podcast, we are delighted to host Kibum Kim, straight from Seoul, South Korea. In addition to a solid presence in the fashion spheres, Kibum is a global renown selector since 2014—and has been rocking the clubs of the capital since then.
The artist brushes his sonic vision through textures of sound with an emphasis on spatialization. While playing mostly rominimal and micro house, he prefers mixing like water flowing through the river, like playing a musical instrument.
Kibum mixes his favorite sound textures with a dark ambient twist and also produces fashion show music.

Born under the shade of the sails of Scampia, difficult neighborhood at the periphery of Naples. Born in 1980, she embarked on a career in the music world working very hard, starting as a waitress in many clubs and then as a dancer for several years. 
When she was a teenager she moved to Northern Italy for the high school, started a route into the world of fashion industry studying to become a fashion designer, but soon she understands that his path was in a completely different direction, enthusiasm for the night life in the local gave her the right reason to start a journey that now counts a lot of people who appreciate her, first of all for her talent. 
Came back soon to live in her hometown, Naples, who led Deborah to work on her knowledge into new music genres and trends, giving shape to a charisma that immediately has worked hard with productions signed by her as Sola_mente Records label founded in March 2013. She was deeply inspired by Seoul's underground music scene and developed her taste within a visionary club, Mystik, and their dedicated party, Voice. As she collects old and new records that span the 90s and modern times, Chae has been studying various forms of sound and constantly expanding her archive. Through her music, Chae hopes to spread a good energy and wishes to share the magic of vinyl on the way.

Yeonjun started as a professional DJ in 1999, as a resident at club Matmata, located in Hongdae, Seoul. The club was an iconic house music club that ravers from that time period still remember and cherish to this day. During his residency, he introduced artists such as Derrick Carter to the listeners in Seoul.

In 2011, Yeonjun moved to the Itaewon area in Seoul to open Mystik, yet another iconic house/techno venue that is well known as one of the most prestigious clubs in Asia even after its closure. In year 2016, he opened a venue called Deviate in Hannam-dong, an area close to Itaewon.

Yeonjun is a true safeguard of the electronic music scene in Seoul, a great director that built up many iconic clubs, and a great DJ whose selections have a whole history of their own.
