I started DJing around 2007, and the sound of early 2000s progressive house has shaped my taste in more ways than I can possibly imagine. To this day, I always weave those nostalgic moments into every set that I play, as I try to create timeless dance floor moments. Faxing Berlin is a cover of the enduring hit Faxing Berlin. Having played it countless times over the years, I decided it was time to make my own interpretation of it, using the epic chord progression of the original, but with modern sound design, the result is a track that can move dance floor in a very powerful way (as Ive seen in my own sets). Taking on such a classic is no small feat, but in the end, I was able to pay my homage to it in a unique way.

Wavelengths of different frequencies bring us information about sound, temperature or the image of the world. Through our senses we form a coherent whole.
That`s why we love the sound of bells.
The sound spectrum of a single tone consists of the basic frequency and several higher frequencies that are a full multiple of the basic frequency. Together they form harmonious parts of the spectrum.
The non-harmonious spectrum consists of partly harmonious parts which are not full multiples of the basic frequency. The non-harmonious parts are added to the harmonious sections of the tone and produce richer instrumental sounds. Another determining factor of timbre is the transitional state which enables us to identify the source.

Light acts similarly. All the colours of the world  fit within the narrow margin of the visible spectrum. The frequency values enable us to reliably identify their influence on our well being and performance. Light affects our state of mind as much as music.

Subtract, the record label Anton initially started to showcase fresh talent, has since grown into a trusted name for connoisseurs of the underground. Releasing only a few, if any, carefully chosen records each year, Subtract has featured artists ranging from rising stars to luminaries like John Digweed, Stimming, and Damian Lazarus, with Anton’s unflinching commitment to quality steering the ship.

After years of perfecting the art of DJing and party production, Anton finally turned his laser focus to creating original music. With releases on prestigious labels like All Day I Dream, Sudbeat, Balance, and Endless—not to mention his own Subtract—he’s making waves with his unique voice. Recent highlights include collaborations with Hernán Cattáneo, Dave DK and Jamie Stevens, with more releases poised to showcase the results of his patient craftsmanship.
