'The Inside Eye EP' sees Ben Soundscape return to Dispatch Recordings for a four-track release that reflects on his own creative process. It is centred around the importance of trusting your inside eye as your primary source of inspiration. Rather than being overly influenced by everything around you, creativity should come from within. 

Fans of Ben Soundscape will be familiar with his use of vocal samples, and this EP is no exception. These play a big part in telling the story of the EP, especially on the lead track 'The Inside Eye' - "Every work you make has to be a surprise to the Earth, a seeing that's never happened before."

The same is true of 'Do It Up' and 'No One's Watching' as they feature samples from one of Ben's favourite TV shows. Aiming to create an EP that was both dancefloor friendly and suitable for home listening, these two tracks capture the perfect combination of light and dark. 

'It's All Music' is perhaps the most minimal track on the EP with stripped back drums and cut up hip-hop beats, it adds to the mysterious edge that runs throughout this EP. 

A welcome return for this talented Bristolian, who continues to hone his craft and showcase new production techniques.

or their 56th release, Lost Recordings presents a new series, 'Format'. A culmination of tracks from various artists, covering a wide spectrum of the Drum & Bass sound.
The first edition 'Format 1' features Kloro4m, Slippy Skills, Bruises, No Human Sound, Frame and AVT. The release covers all corners, from upfront speaker tearing basses to cavernous musical rollers.
'Menial Labour' from Kloro4m, featuring Slippy skills has a unique drive from choppy synths and staggered beats, elevated with agitated lyrics. Creating an addictive and versatile hook with a infectious bop.
No Human Sound & Frame bring a hostile and cutting piece to the release, titled 'Sendai's Digital Error' Fusing dusty drums and roaring leads, a powerful driving force reminiscent of the early grit the scene was known for.
Bruises take a minimal & pumping foundation and blend it with melancholic pianos and whispers of thunderous bass for their track 'Footnote'. Providing us with a track both sonically and atmospherically dynamic.
'New World' from AVT is a well structured throwback to the rich and deep roots of the atmospheric sound. Long droning pads and howling vocals grounded and cemented with sharp energetic drums.

Natural Forces returns to Dispatch Recordings for a 6 track EP full of his unique take on minimal funk. The ‘Fragments EP’ is Natural Forces at his best - each track is packed with soul and emotion, a deep, richness that runs throughout this exceptional release.

Title track ‘Fragments’ combines all of these elements perfectly, progressing through minimal rolling bass and emotive harmonics, setting the tone for the whole of EP. ‘Zero Hour’ is an experimental journey through tense and looming bass stabs, taking influence from the legendary Noisia for the track’s distinctive hook.  

The vocal throwbacks of ‘Motion’ continues the minimal soul and the pitch bent strings of ‘Submarine’ give a nod to the many influential early Goldie productions. ‘Sacred Ground’ is perhaps the most minimal track on the EP, making great use of frequency shifted mid bass and vocal cuts. 

‘Divine’ completes the EP with deep, musical emotion led by crisp drum work and nostalgic progression. Channelling another huge influence of his, this one is inspired by Natural Forces’ love of the classic Photek sound.

Ant TC1 along with Hidden Agenda founded Dispatch Recordings back in 2001, Ant originally helped out with the management side of the label before finding his feet within the realms of production; which was a natural progression for him having DJ’d on pirate radio and in clubs from the age of 14 (since 1992).  His first release alongside frequent production partner Stress Level appeared on Dispatch after almost 3 years of hard work getting their collective sound where they felt it needed to be before even thinking about turning on a DAT recorder.  After their first release hit the stores they quickly picked up a wealth of DJ support across their early material and went on to release for a who’s who list of established Drum & Bass record labels including the likes of Renegade, CIA, Advanced, Critical Records Integral, Liquid V, Commercial Suicide, Good Looking Records, Bingo Beats and Samurai Music.

By demand remix work started to feature heavily within their output and the duo went on to remix for the likes of Hidden Agenda, Chris SU, Artificial Intelligence, Kabuki, Total Science, Optical & Ryme Time (Jagged Edge), Atlantic Connection, Tactile & DJ Marky.  Branching out and working with other producers such as Survival, DLR & Philth has only furthered experience Ant’s skills at the controls over the years, Ant has also released his own solo material more recently on top of remixing for the likes of Lomax on Integral Records.  In 2014 Ant realised a lifetime ambition, securing his first ever release for the legendary Metalheadz label “Hungry For Atmosphere” alongside Mako, DLR & Villem with further releases for the label and counting going into 2024.

Ant’s production output has featured on a mass of compilations and mix CD’s compiled by the likes of Shy FX, LTJ Bukem, Total Science, AI, Spectrasoul, Klute and Brian G.  Additionally his work has featured very heavily within the radio shows of Friction, Grooverider, Fabio, Goldie, Bailey & Rene LaVice on their respective BBC Radio 1 slots over the years as well as BBC 1Xtra where Ant once hosted his own one-off 4 hour show, he has since additionally made 2 guest DJ appearances for DJ Friction on his Radio 1 show.  His DJ’ing work has seen him play all over the globe from Adelaide to Los Angeles, from Hong Kong to Sarajevo, Vancouver to Bangkok and last but by no means least regularly UK and EU wide. Additionally for the most part of the decade beyond 2010 Ant also worked as the Artist Manager for both Outlook and Dimensions Festival in Croatia, leading up the booking process, budgets and travel aspects for the festival.

Fast forward through to 2024; Ant is now responsible for the lead label management roles of both Metalheadz & Dispatch Recordings and is based in Thailand, with a purpose built studio room recently finished the plan (alongside managing a mass of planned record label releases) is to get back to focusing on writing music more consistently than he ever has previously.
