Floating removes you from the outside world and gives your mind the freedom to wander wherever it wants to go. You have a space where you can lie down, removed from the pressure of thinking, discussing, or participating in anything at all. It’s an environment that exists almost completely opposite our current plugged-in, sensory-driven way of life. Flourishing and regaining back all the dark/bright, warmth/cold, emotive/cheerful, ambiguous and mysterious sensations that has now all but vanished leaving abandoned souls. 

Dycide is a producer / DJ, professional sound designer and visual artist from Munich / Germany. Back in 2014, he established the Dycide pseudonym in order to release mainly minimalistic deep drum and bass. However, he slowly started changing more and more to techno oriented music and, along the way, he and his close friends established @iorecs, an audiovisual label, focusing on experimental ambient and deep techno and atmospheric artwork. Besides these projects David is working as an interactive sound designer and audio software developer.

Music has the ability to create transcendent experiences. It can make us feel like we’re in touch with something bigger than ourselves, something otherworldly and often spiritual. Being able to experience a shade of that same sensation in a social gathering tunes us in a larger spectrum of people with whom we share the world. Perhaps something that we might need to relearn now.

Noah Lyas is the pseudonym for the ‘amsterdamer electronic music head’ and ceramicist Malii Yorks. Drums, rhythms and the feel of them are for him the most interesting aspects within musical compositions. Malii tells us - ‘Whether it is complex or very simple, rhythms will set things in motion, not necessarily the body when it is dancing, but also your inner self’.

Noah Lyas, read ‘no alias’, is a name that is given to the concept of having an alter-ego but still questioning if you are someone else, or not.

His progressive sessions, profound and with long mixes, are real voyages that sail through experimental music, ambient and horizontal and dubby techno.

His productions are 4x4 experiments of low tempo with field recordings and marked spaces, where he explores timbres, textures and cinematographic structures. He is resident at the Alpenglühen and Taiga sessions and owner of the label Antimatter together with Bule.

He is also the owner of Alpenglühen (the label) focused in deep and ambient techno which explores the thin line between light and darkness.

Artist's Bio

Polygonia is a versatile art and music project based in Munich, Germany. Her Precending intensive and long practice playing several instruments as well as the experiences with other art forms, inspired the artist to translate her understanding of rhythm, composition and experimentalism into digital music language. She creates mystic, deep and experimental soundcapes with acoustic elements in it. The goal of her sets is to lead the listener through a colourful story, which includes a palette from bright moods with a lot of atmosphere and harmony into the polyrhythmic abyss of techno and dark ambient.

One year after we want to member this moment and celebrate this collaboration. We are happy to welcome for our 33rd podcast, the talented Korean DJ, selector, label manager of Oslated: Oslon.

This beautiful Ambient journey, was recorded at RC3: The Chaos Computer Club, a German association gathering since the 80's hackers and featuring music and all kinds of arts.
