Dharma is a cutting-edge live act, DJ, and sound engineer. The refreshingly raw talent offers us a genre-melting and dance-floor friendly six-track EP within his debut release on Ape-X Records (out tomorrow). We invited him on APECAST to perform a live set, showcasing mainly unreleased material and tracks from his new EP. ’Escaping The Hard Drive' explores the realms of ambient, house, techno, breakbeat, jungle, and beyond.

Born in Newcastle, Dharma has surfaced with a formidable musical background - performing as a multi-instrumentalist in orchestras, bands, and most recently as an electronic music producer. Dharma’s distinctive, yet unique sound takes major influences from the likes of The Prodigy and Aphex Twin. Next year he prepares for releases with fellow Northern based label Me Me Me, Nothing Is Real and R & S Records.

At the core of Ape-X Records, we focus on providing a platform for local creativity. Our 5th label release offers a glimpse into what the future holds for this highly-promising Northern talent.
