Being musician and artist "since ages", the last two decades and all the developments in digital music broadened my interests and activities in doing music actively and passively. Not being shy of any genre (OK, leave off some Punk and Extreme Metal derivates) I engage in composing, arranging, mixing and collaborating. 

Oh, and I do all my artwork and designs as well. And as you may notice I regard AI as a friendly helper.

I’m an independent artist/label composing cinematic electronic music since 2005 when Indigo World Productions was formed and registered through ASCAP. The music you will hear is a direct expression of inspirations and visualizations. I’m mostly self-taught with little formal training, having had but a few lessons.

The music is produced using multiple virtual instruments including Omnisphere and Kontakt. I’m using a Roland FA-08 88-key weighted-action synth workstation to produce some of the sounds I’m working with and to drive the VSTs through MIDI. The vocals I work with were recorded by a professional soloist and licensed for commercial use. 

From the start I’ve been inspired by film scores from composers such as Vangelis, Ennio Morricone, and Hans Zimmer. I’m greatly inspired by the works of Vangelis. The music I create is emotive with minimal engineering to preserve the feeling behind the music.   

In addition to music, I’ve worked summers supervising crews on wildfires in Colorado. I also volunteered as team leader for search & rescue, performing rescues and recoveries in the mountains of southern Colorado as a way of giving back to the community. 

Indigo World Productions is an independent publisher label cleared and registered through ASCAP'S DART Claim Publisher Members and Affiliated Foreign Societies in 2005.

Steve Hillier is a keyboard player and vocalist from the U.S. After 30 years as a sideman behind soul and blues recording artists Bobby Stringer and Betty Padgett, he started recording his own music. 

Steve started playing piano and composing music as a teenager growing up in Darien, Connecticut. His music crosses genres, from the progressive rock of his first EP "Moving Star" to the blues-rock of his follow-up EP "Wintertime".
