Obsidian Reflections for Small Orchestra - Marco Polo Orchestra (Live World Premiere)

Shamans, alchemists and the natural philosophers of the classical era experience(d) that the planets are one and the same as the gods. They perceive them in the trance state like geometrically-shaped forces that send out signals or audible keys, when one concentrates directly on them at dawn on their name day.  That’s why I made a cover that was not the planet and not the goddess, but a more symbolic form of that force. 

The planets/gods have been called “the mills” by poets in the past because, when in tune with them, you experience a sort of grinding frequency going through the whole body.  I put a D drone to run through the whole track to try to capture that audible vibration, and I was inspired to write these words after meditating on Venus at dawn on her day, Friday.

Sometimes life really feels like a sitcom on wheels 🚗💥.
“Just Another Day” is born from a couple of small real accidents that happened to two of us (don’t ask who 😅). Between alarms, burnt breakfasts, empty gas tanks, exploding tires and near-superhero sprints, we tried to turn the chaos into a darkly playful pop rock anthem. Because at the end of the day… it’s just another day!🤪

Being musician and artist "since ages", the last two decades and all the developments in digital music broadened my interests and activities in doing music actively and passively. Not being shy of any genre (OK, leave off some Punk and Extreme Metal derivates) I engage in composing, arranging, mixing and collaborating. 

Oh, and I do all my artwork and designs as well. And as you may notice I regard AI as a friendly helper.
