Two field recordings of traffic sound from Ackerstraße/Bernauer Straße and from Ackerstraße/Torstraße, Berlin. 

Both recordings are radically changed in duration and in tone pitch. First, traffic sounds are replayed in quick-motion. After 30 seconds, it starts to fade over to traffic sounds in slow-motion. 

These modifications are meant to highlight some rythmical patterns in the "behaviour" of internal combustion engines across the city, on a "macroscopic" as well as on a "microscopic" level. 

At the end you can hear the sound of a German ambulance siren replayed very slowly (at the very end you will hear a short bit in normal pitch).

For this show, Triqi invited dear friend and underground selector DJ Lu?Lu! as her guest for the second hour. Featuring a solid portion of hip house, funk and other bouncey grooves.

Desde +ambien cerramos el año con un sencillo doble, “Chimborazo/Resbala” resultado de la colaboración de dos nombres que no dejan de sorprender por su versatilidad musical y capacidad de propuesta rítmica inigualable. Ellos son Entrañas, desde Quito, y Selvagia, de Lima.

En este corto pero potente lanzamiento, los productores comparten múltiples versiones rítmicas, jugando con tiempos a dos velocidades, sobre arreglos musicales grabados de instrumentos de cuerdas. Combinando texturas gelatinosas y burbujeantes con modulaciones en sus texturas, y logrando patrones sincopados y galopantes, y resultando en descargas rítmicas impresionantes.

Desde +ambien creemos que este EP, en sus dos temas; logra visualizar características particulares de cada uno de los productores. Selvagia; Erick Del Aguila, siendo uno de los nombres más innovadores en la creación de música electrónica en Perú en años recientes. Licht Himmel was conceived as a 14-channel-composition for the Gasometer Oberhausen, a former gas tank and now an industrial landmark. Instrumental and electronic sounds are combined with field recordings to form a composition for this special environment. The stereo version was remastered in 2012.
