Subsquad Prod present the part #12 of our serie of compilations, the 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐒𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐃. Each part presents the dub makers of a city (and its surroundings) through a compilation of 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 available for free download.

This twelfth edition is dedicated to 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐚 and presents 11 producers from this area.

The new artwork is realized by Gseb, the mastering by Subsquad Prod.

As usual, the compilation is available for free download, but you can donate to support us & help to perpetuate the project.

High Rockers - Halls and Basements

To those suspended moments.
Those thresholds where the day stretches, where light hesitates, where shadows reach out but never close their grip. That in-between where everything is just half of something else. Maybe music, in the end, is just that.

I didn’t try to compose a series of tracks. What I wanted was a comet, a continuous vibration. If there has to be silence, it should carry weight. If there’s grain, it should be rough. If something is born, it must rise from what came before. An echo has both its source and its rebound, and the rebound remembers.

This album holds memories of a time I never knew. Analog warmth, tape wobbles, sparks filled with imperfections. Layers and fragments of a future only half-imagined, artifacts that feel almost unreal.

And then, there are the images. The burn of an orange sun scraping the horizon, a deep blue night where every star feels both infinitely close and impossibly distant. Heavy skies, soaked in salt. Voices erased by the wind but still lingering, somewhere, like whispers of an echo.

I think I wanted to capture something alive, something instinctive. Like those raw, untamed truths—wild yet wise, brutal yet...  more
