Our artist of the year for 2022 @Crackazat has continued his golden run in 2023 delivering some of his finest work to date popping up on Nervous, Local Talk, Heist, Closer to Truth and Sub_Urban with originals and remixes aplenty. Now he's back with his first Mini Album / extended EP of the year 'Senses' arriving on @heistrecordings and it's a perfect match of artist and label.

Featuring 6 tracks fusing everything from Chill out and Broken Beat to deep Jazz infused house and club focused deep house gems it's another mighty statement EP delivering yet again on Crackazat's incredibly warm live house sound.

Our premier from the EP today is Freddie's Groove a throbbing loopy hypnotic deep rollercoaster of a track with bass stabs, swirling vocals, Chandler-esque percussion and smokey brass. With nods to both Freddie Hubbard and Pepe Bradock it's an invigorating combination.

We are delighted to announce that July 2023 is the month in which you will finally be able to know the new Apparel Wax product: Apparel Wax Mini. The Mini catalogue (dedicated to 7-inch vinyl) fits into the narrative of our masked hero as a sort of prequel, as the 'Mini' vinyl represents the ‘childhood’ of Apparel Wax, his life before its music started to be heard around the world. Another novelty is that the first release is double. In fact, APLWAXMINI001 and 002 will drop on the same day, both containing two tracks, one on each side. With a physical product of different size, we have also adapted the graphic design of the project, as you’ll notice looking at the record. A new adventure begins in the world of the masked artist who, this time, will tell another musical story created by the now famous anonymous collective of phenomenal artists behind the project. APLWAXMINI001 is composed of two tracks perfect for the summer period, both with a very marked essence of lightness and groovy, both ideal to bring back the carefree and cheerful musical soul at the base of the project since its origins. We’re also back with Wax’s characteristic gift kits, which from now on will be strictly green and recyclable.

RNT welcomes Cody Currie back to the catalog with an extended EP of soulful and jazzy original sounds. A project that’s been in the works since his label debut back in 2017, the “Cody Currie EP” is a refined statement of the rising star producer’s UK-jazz and club roots, both danceable and introspective. Enlisting a talented roster of collaborators, such as vocalists Stee Downes, RNT mainstay Cor.ece, and newcomer Marlena Dae as well as instrumentalists Mikeal and Ally McMahon, each track is like a little world of its own in the universe of Cody’s vast musical aesthetic. To round out the EP we have a stellar remix from European deep house royalty Vincenzo, who shows that his production tools are still sharp as ever.

Intr0beatz, a turntablist at heart, started off as the beat producer for Icelandic hip-hop group Forgotten Lores in the late '90s. As time passed by, he transitioned from his early hip-hop roots to explore a fusion of chill-out, deep house, funk, and hip-hop in his 2011 release, "Half Time" on Möller Records. This marked a significant shift in his production style, leading him to delve further into house music, drawing inspiration from the jazz, funk, and soul elements that influenced the golden age of hip-hop.
