Back in 2004 I did a gig with MC Jakes at a club called WUK in Vienna, Austria. This is the first half of the set, playing breaks and into the D&B part of the set. You can hear the full D&B part of this live show also on our soundcloud, posted about 5 years ago. I only just found this section of the show on an old hard drive this week, nearly 20 years after the event!

The intro Jakes did for the mix we sampled on a Baobinga remix we did, also in 2004, called 'Shake Yer Head' on our 777 label (in case you recognised it!)

Mechanical Pressure is a multi-genre sound producer from Dnipro, Ukraine. Without exaggeration, his most successful breaks project was recognized by the International Breaks Awards 2018 alongside Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts, and Deekline.

Drum & bass was the starting point of Alexey's creative exploration, and later his musical repertoire expanded to other breakbeat-oriented styles such as breaks, dubstep, IDM, and now cinematic ambient. So Mechanical Pressure's music instantly found a place in the catalogs of Ukrainian and foreign labels, and received the support of the flagships of the breaks industry such as The Crystal Method, Future Funk Squad, BETA, etc.

Returning to the roots of drum & bass, Alexey recorded a fresh mix to demonstrate his current taste in different sub-styles. So, have a good trip listening to the new Outcast by Mechanical Pressure 👽
