Writing music that explores intimacy, love, freedom and individuality, Tabouʼs music invites listeners to shed perceptions and experience a world unencumbered.
Formed at the beginning of 2017, Tabou is an Essex-based five-piece making scintillating, soulful contemporary R&B with a blend of electro-pop and funk.
Five friends with diverse musical influences that range from Motown Town to Punk Rock, Tabou are quickly emerging as one of the most exciting new bands coming out of the UK.
Soho Radioʼs Eddy Temple Morris described the bandʼs sound as “fresh nu-disco in the New York tradition” and “less Studio 54 and more LCD Soundsystem.”
Their first single “Honey”, was released in April 2017 and received glittering reviews, featuring on BBC Introducing and gaining airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Soho Radio.
The band has gone from strength to strength releasing four singles to date, the most recent, “For the Night” having come out on the 15th March 2018.
Tabou has been performing at venues around the country including the legendary Ronnie Scott's in London. They will continue gigging throughout summer 2018 before releasing their debut EP later this year.

Nec Nymbl = Toronto Composer/Producer + Phonetician (multi-syllabic MC with crazy word-play on conscious tip) from the late 90's, creating various sounds inspired by life's joy/pain & empirical struggles.
Was heavily involved in many of the hip-hop elements and a leader in a  world-wide crew up until 2005. Became so dissatisfied with the industry, the usury of manipulative artists, the decline of quality music and the state of hip-hop...that it resulted in the abandonment of the public and cyber scene. 
Thus hermit mode was entered for about 13yrs. 

However, during that time a secret arsenal of kits were being made, the rarest samples were being unearthed and instrumentals were still being produced and preserved in the Noemadik Sound Lab archive...

Nec has decided to re-emerge from the dusty dungeons and dark caverns, and unite with the similar minded heads (musicians/artists and listeners) who would like to preserve the purity of such art-forms.

Heavily influenced by Golden Era hip-hop,  trip-hop, chill-hop and all genres of music that has heart/soul in it, NEC NIMBLE created instrumentals of all kinds: 
Raw & Rugged golden era Boom Bap, Hardcore Bangers, Soulful/Funky & Jazzy beats, Melancholic/Mellodramatic sounds, dark grimy beats, Lo-Fi and ambient chill grooves, Ethnic fusion and various cinematic and exotic sounding lounge friendly pieces.

Nec Nimble has been a serious crate-digger for about 20yrs with 10k+ vinyl.

Gabriel Tali is a Lithuanian born Pop singer-songwriter/producer. At the age of 19, his passion for music took him to Bristol, UK where his main goal was to grow as an artist and introduce himself to wider audiences. 

Gabriel's first EP "Number 7" was his first attempt in a journey of searching his style and portraying his first experiences, struggles and happy moments. That is why "Number 7" is very colorful regarding the variety of genres you experience throughout.

After spending lots of time getting better at his craft, Gabriel is going to come back soon with unique and promising musical projects.
