"Saturday mods, The Scene, look like they are having a right old laugh at all North Wales’ expense. This five piece all stand at different heights; gangly, short and odd, yet their sound and presentation oddly calls for the uniformity of mod rule. Small Faces, knock-off Harringtons, Liam Gallagher dead ringers, smashing up chippies, breaking windows and doing runners from B&Bs in Welsh coastal resorts like Llandudno - it’s all here and some! And then you hear them play. A staggeringly tight Spencer Davis groove with thrusting Moseley Shoals guitars and Weller like thrust. They break the room apart with a wall of noise. Some even complain it’s too loud – always a good sign when you don’t see said complainants leaving. "
