Ein flüchtiger Blick auf den nächtlichen Himmel und einige seiner strahlend blauen Sterne kann verständlicherweise zu der Annahme führen, dass diese recht häufig in unserer Galaxis vertreten sind. Aber prozentual gesehen, gibt es relativ wenige Sterne, die mit der Farbe wie der NUNKI leuchten.
