papi war schon immer eine bewusste musikhörerin. die motivation, ihre eigene sammlung aufzubauen, kam jedoch erst vor kurzem. gefördert wurde dies durch die unterstützung in ihrer neuen umgebung, insbesondere durch femme bass mafia, die sie in die kunst des auflegens einführten. bezugnehmend auf ihre eigene natur, präsentiert papi mit kfpnyx047 eine zusammenstellung, die die bandbreite der bassmusik-ästhetik demonstriert, indem sie uns gefühlvoll durch verschiedene genres und stimmungen gleiten lässt. 

*femme bass mafia ist ein dj-mentoring-programm für femme, trans und nicht-binäre menschen, mit dem schwerpunkt auf bassmusik und der schaffung von sicheren lernräumen.

die kfpnyx mix serie beinhaltet diverse stile elektronischer musik, insbesondere zackigen sowie flächigen techno, house, electro, breakbeat und ambient. einbinden möchten wir unsere residents, freund*innen der crew und ausgewählte gäst*innen.

papi was always a conscious listener of music, however, her motivation to begin building her collection came relatively recently. this was fostered by the encouragement she found in new surroundings, particularly by femme bass mafia who introduced her to the art of djing. leaning into the characteristics of her own nature, with kfpnyx 047 papi presents a compilation, that demonstrates the breadth of bass music aesthetics, weaving us through various genres and sensitive undulating moods. 

*femme bass mafia is a dj mentoring program for femme, trans and non-binary people, with a focus on bass music and the creation of safer learning spaces.

the kfpnyx mix series includes many sub kinds of electronic music, especially rough and melodic techno, house, electro, breakbeat and ambient. for this purpose we want to involve our residents, friends of the crew and selected guests.

For his first EP, Drawbridge aka Pont-Levis, a young French producer based in the forest near Paris, presents us a vision of modern electronic music with no boundaries.

Journey into my inner forest, is an introspective travel in the artist’s mind where you can imagine yourself as a character from an heroic-fantasy game, seeking the light into a dark and swampy forest. In other words, this a quest in magical land of music where anything is possible …

Musically speaking, you’ll find some club weapons aside healing soundtrack for the little elf you are.

PREMIERE⚡️Drawbridge - Just met an alien in the swamp [Electric Shapes]

AJO aka https://on.soundcloud.com/qcTCH who originally comes from the depths of the black forest, is living in the Rhein- Main-Area since the last couple of years. Due to his father he listened to tapes from Good Looking Records and LTJ Bukem and was gifted a huge electronic music collection when he was 12, discovering Aphex Twin. A former Ex of his mother with who he used to live a couple of years, was a Didgeridoo player and introduced him into the more tripped out side of electronic music and the realm of the psy. AJO - Ambedo is heavily influenced by this background, the forest, his surrounding, the tribe and the dance.

The mix is a live arrangement, containing tracks from upcoming album "Ambedo" released on our label.

Inhabited by the conviction that music can be a source of healing. Jacky Jeane works for a benevolent and inclusive celebration of which she strives to create the aquatic and enveloping soundtrack. Initiated to the mix in contact with feminist collective MA.L.E.S (Strasbourg), she can in ambient, downtempo, breaks, tribal, bass music and techno sounds, with a very particular attention granted to the rhythm. She represents a modern emerging scene, which multiplies with joy the zones of explorations, as well musical as alive.
