This is very cool👌, from melody to the mix and mastering.  it can be played as trance music, especially the last quarter of the track made me feel like I'm about to listen to trance music . Most of your tracks in your  Playlist contain chill and Ambient music which melodies could be transformed into trance, and Because its melodies are a source of inspiration for trance music producers Great effort & good luck 💥

Last but not least, Smokin Rock bares its soul for the world to see. Dannewitz belts out his story of hardship with unflinching honesty as Hank Rusch machine guns the universe with his Stratocaster. This song was written in 2018. It was a sort of autobiographical song  pertaining to singer Bob Dannewitz during a rough patch in his life.  At the that time lockdowns, riots, crime, war were non existent. We thought the song was not relatable so we shelved it.  What a difference a couple of years make!! Now all the mad prophet rantings are par for the course in this year 2024.  This the last of Smokin Rock's releases in the album Desiree, we present it for your listening.

Distant Lives is the result of my first experiments with frequency modulation. I finally opened Ableton Operator to see how it works, and when I heard this three-overtone saw wave modulated by a 4-bit sine, I instantly fell in love with it. I randomly played some notes on my MIDI keyboard, and this surprisingly sweet melody emerged.

It reminded me of a few images I shot last winter at the Siófok pier—a red lantern coloring the shoreline and casting new light on the dusk. Aren't we all just mesmerized by the sight of great lakes and seas? Contemplating distances and unreachable goals? Are there people standing on the other side, looking in our direction with the same curiosity as us? Is there a better life waiting for us all, or is this the better life?

This is a rare case of image and sound inspiring each other in a feedback loop. I quite like this piece, and I hope you find something in it too.
