"Oceans Apart" explores the poignant experience of being in a relationship where partners gradually drift away from each other. This song delves into the subtle yet profound realization that you have fallen out of love with someone, despite your best efforts to rekindle the connection. It poignantly illustrates that sometimes, the kindest course of action can appear harsh, as letting go may ultimately be the most compassionate choice for both parties involved. I drew inspiration for this song from a personal relationship. During that period, I was heavily engaged with my work commitments, which significantly limited the time I could spend with my partner. The scant moments of free time I had, I often felt the need for solitude, which exacerbated the emotional distance between us. This dynamic left me feeling as though we were metaphorically 'Oceans Apart.'
