Although I'm no musician for years my brain has received little noisy songs that I crudely record no-tech on a small portable recorder. I sing and play my 1920s Stroviols ukulele in one take and later overdub additional harmonies, instruments, and sounds without the use of talent or digital effects.

In 1999 I started recording original songs on my lil' boombox to process confusion, anger and love as a young adult. In 2007, I started producing more music and started sharing my tunes on SoundCloud under the name DCBA ABCD, which was a play off my initials. In the summer of 2019, I released my first EP, Keep You Safe, to major platforms as Aniela.  ✨
