Hailing from Bristol by way of Sao Paulo- SPY has been at it for quite some time.   He has won countless awards and acclaim from critics as well as his peers...  And deservedly so. I mostly knew of his more melodic takes on drum & bass, but this mix focuses on his darker productions.  Right when you think you're about to hear an anthem he reels the tracks back in and goes back to DnB's roots- Soul and menace in equal measure.

This is S.P.Y and these tracks are dark, slick, and heavy.

When I think about the sound of drum & bass, T>I's tracks are what I think about.  They are funky, fluid, street-level nasty, and catchy AF.  These are the sounds of the future and the best sounds from a hazy past.  Mat's remix of Zinc's Sharp Shooter is one for the ages- it slaps.  His work with Grid boss Turno, his EP with Trex on Metalheadz, his collab with Saxxon- all pristine and timeless.

I just play music for fun so that I have something to listen to.  Maybe you like a mix.  Maybe not.  Keep listening and the odds are that one will hit with you.
